New update!
Added new parameters to the sorting rules editor: LoadFirst, LoadLast and Category.
chuckleberrypi 4 Sep @ 10:59am
awesome, thank you (accidentally deleted original comment, new set up xd)
REfRigERatoR  [author] 4 Sep @ 10:49am
@chuckleberrypi
now there is no way to change the category manually, but this is a great idea for improvement! maybe I will implement it)
REfRigERatoR  [author] 2 Sep @ 12:28am
@Liarzax
You are absolutely right, mod authors should initially set up the dependencies for their mods correctly.
At the moment there is no other way to save and load the order of mods other than sorting rules.
Liarzax 1 Sep @ 7:05pm
unfortunately this relies on the correct dependencies being configured, what about options to export/save and import/load mod order for those of us that tweak it manually?
REfRigERatoR  [author] 23 Aug @ 11:13am
@Proximitive
all mods that are specified as required for another mod will be placed above this mod.
perhaps in terms of tiles and maps this may not play any role (I have not personally checked), but for scripts it is important.
Proximitive 22 Aug @ 9:58pm
should tiles really be above map mods? I saw somewhere that tiles should be below like this

Tikitown
Drazion's Tilepack
Erika's TIles

where i can change manually the mod order , wath location and name of the file to change Manually , thanks for the mod
REfRigERatoR  [author] 13 Aug @ 3:14am
@SuperSeba
I checked, on version 42.11 the mod works correctly. Try to leave only this one mod enabled and check if anything has changed (the most obvious change is the mod search field at the top of the mod sorting order window). If this does not work, then try to check the integrity of the game files via Steam

You are a saint. You have saved me so much time.
REfRigERatoR  [author] 18 Jul @ 11:36am
@Paulownia
All you need to do is enable this mod, go to the mod loading order and click the "Sort" button at the bottom of the screen.
Done!
If necessary, you can manually change the mod loading order or set your own sorting rules using the sorting rules editor

you are right! Fixed!

Is it just me, or did the automatic scrolling stop working with this update?
Loccatpowersdog 29 Jun @ 4:31pm
I know it was a few updates ago but "added automatic scrolling of the mods list when dragging outside the mods window" or similar was a much needed feature for my QoL, thanks so much for this option! Is there any way in-game or via a mod like this to see the total number of enabled mods? Maybe I've just blindly missed it somewhere.

I have a small request — could you please provide the text for the right-side extended settings, specifically the options under "Apply"? It would really help with localization.

As far as I remember (if I’m not mistaken from when I checked in April), the mod doesn’t include those texts for translation.

It would be great if you could provide them so we can properly localize that part too.

please share the error message in the "bug reports" discussion

Thank you so much for the auto scroll when dragging update! My tendons are in debt
REfRigERatoR  [author] 10 Jun @ 12:52am
@Joewlpc
I didn't quite understand your request. Do you want the mod's description to be displayed in the tooltip?
Joewlpc 8 Jun @ 7:11pm
can I request a translation of the in-game description to be added below the slavic text

New update:
added automatic scrolling of the mods list when dragging outside the mods window
REfRigERatoR  [author] 20 May @ 1:44am
Andagor 20 May @ 12:21am
REfRigERatoR  [author] 20 Apr @ 1:35pm
no problem :)
TDiggityDogg 20 Apr @ 12:21pm
Wow. First off, thanks for the lighting fast reply. second thanks for making me remember to check if I am even playing b42 or not.

Turns out from default the game is on b41 stable. Little did I know the recent update is b42 unstable, not b42 stable. I having been downloading b42 mods and wondering why some don't work. Now I feel stupid. lol
REfRigERatoR  [author] 20 Apr @ 11:58am
@TDiggityDogg
please make sure you are subscribing to the correct version of the mod.
in the main menu of the game at the bottom is written the version of the game.
This version of the mod is only for version b42
for version 41 of the game use the mod of the corresponding version https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3180893708
TDiggityDogg 20 Apr @ 11:20am
New to the game, not sure if i am missing something here but I dont see it in my mod list.

maybe its because Steam workshop does not download directly to my games 'real mod folder'. So I need to copy the 'ModLoadOrderSorter_b42' from the steam workshop folder into my Project Zomboid mod folder found in my 'Users' folder.

Every other mod I did this with finally showed up besides this one
10 Apr @ 3:00am
I asked because some modes didn't work when I pressed "auto" like before. I rearranged them myself and it worked.
REfRigERatoR  [author] 10 Apr @ 2:09am
for testing purposes yes, but in general no. so if you wanted to ask for my sorting rules, then I have nothing to share with you
10 Apr @ 1:38am
Have you changed your sorting rules recently?
REfRigERatoR  [author] 10 Apr @ 12:03am
The sorting_rules file stores only custom rules and will be empty if you have not added your own rules.
9 Apr @ 11:41pm
sorting_rules file has no contents.
REfRigERatoR  [author] 7 Apr @ 5:39am
@Ryan
Please read pinned "Sorting rules" discussion

All sorting rules are stored in the file sorting_rules.txt (at the path “C:\Users\<YOUR_USERNAME>\Zomboid\Lua\sorting_rules.txt”) or can be directly described by mod developers in the file mod.info of their mod.
Ryan 7 Apr @ 2:48am
where is the rules file saved?

框架/API/Tweak模块,
REfRigERatoR  [author] 12 Mar @ 3:19pm
It is possible to delete only those rules that were added manually (using the sorting rules editor panel). The rules that were added by the mod developer can only be changed by the developer himself.
Rithualist 12 Mar @ 2:11pm
hi, its possible remove a rule?

marshmallow justice 6 Mar @ 8:24am
ahh! i see okay
i thought B42 was the default version of the game for now. my friends and i just started playing yesterday and just added mods today.

i switched to b42 and yes now everything is showing correctly, though now no multiplayer xD so back to b41. unfortunateeeee
REfRigERatoR  [author] 6 Mar @ 6:36am
@marshmallow justice
First of all, make sure you actually have build 42 of the game (you can see the version of the game in the main menu on the bottom right).
If everything is fine, try unsubscribing and re-subscribing the mod you can't see and restart the game.
As a last resort, check the integrity of the files.
marshmallow justice 6 Mar @ 6:09am
this mod and some others dont seem to show up in main menu -> mods list ... just started adding some mods to zomboid after getting back into b42, am i doing smth wrong?
Æniso 5 Mar @ 12:35pm
Amazing stuff! Modders are so talented holy f :coolface:
REfRigERatoR  [author] 23 Feb @ 9:47am
Perhaps the author of `Birgets bodies for Dynamic body shape` forgot to specify the dependency on `Dynamic body shape` in the mod.info file.
Alpha Gamer 23 Feb @ 9:39am
I know of one issue where there IS a violation not picked up. 'Dynamic body shape' mod MUST load Before 'Birgets bodies for Dynamic body shape' and I had to move them manually In fact there is a whoie set of birget mods related to this and some of them are seperated
REfRigERatoR  [author] 23 Feb @ 9:30am
then no violations were found. or the mod is not activated
