@Rwmroy WTWSMS is When the World Stopped Making Sense, a mod that pushes the start date back to shortly before the fall of the Western Roman Empire. It introduces back into the game a lot of cultures / religions vacant from vanilla, and is my go-to when I want to play CK2 in the real world and not ASOIAF or Elder Scrolls world instead. It would be awesome if this mod was compatible with it, as I love playing Rome in WTWSMS and this idea would be perfect for an Eastern Roman kind of playthrough.

another use of the appointment mechanic that occurred to me: the ability for the byzantine emperor to appoint strategoi since the office wasn't necessarily a lifetime appointment and thus replacing a strategos should be available for emperors, though to prevent its abuse maybe having it as a player-only feature or locked behind decision or game rule.

Could it be possible to make puppeted realms go to war with other realms on your behalf? That'd be cool

@Nova Roma Yes it should be compatible with CK2+. Let me know if there are any conflicts. Also, I updated it and now the tributary is permanent

@jaslingard I've been looking into different ways to utilize this feature and that is a good one. Interesting.

this mod is one of my personal favourites and I think the appoint leader function has some potential beyond just puppets. Maybe an appointable ecumenical patriarch when the patriachate is an imperial vassal?

Is there permanent puppet model? And compatible with Ck2+ plus ?
