Puppet States

Description
This mod adds a new tributary type: Puppet States

The Regime Change CB allows you to make the conquered ruler into a puppet state.

Puppet States not only pay taxes and contribute soldiers, but you may also change the succession of the puppet state or replace the ruler with one of your courtiers. There is a 30 day cooldown period for replacing rulers.

The features of this mod aren't available to the AI. For manual download see my Moddb page:

@Rwmroy WTWSMS is When the World Stopped Making Sense, a mod that pushes the start date back to shortly before the fall of the Western Roman Empire. It introduces back into the game a lot of cultures / religions vacant from vanilla, and is my go-to when I want to play CK2 in the real world and not ASOIAF or Elder Scrolls world instead. It would be awesome if this mod was compatible with it, as I love playing Rome in WTWSMS and this idea would be perfect for an Eastern Roman kind of playthrough.

I am just curious, why you put Armenia on the mod picture?

Cool concept. VERY overpowered however.

Jaslingard is a player-only feature.

another use of the appointment mechanic that occurred to me: the ability for the byzantine emperor to appoint strategoi since the office wasn't necessarily a lifetime appointment and thus replacing a strategos should be available for emperors, though to prevent its abuse maybe having it as a player-only feature or locked behind decision or game rule.
