@jaydubjwc @Morton Due to the new approach how the illustrations are implemented, there will be no such possibility.. Also the icons will be default vanilla and won't be different between cultures. Thats the price for the ease of new update.

@Morton Yes, but they also changed how MAA images are handled, allowing for cultures to have their own unique images without having to use workarounds. This mod uses those workarounds, so likely will need an update to the new system.

I'm sorta wondering the same because this mod only adds and changes illustrations, I don't see how it could conflict with newly-added cultures though I'm a modest coder at best so forgive me.

Hello, is there a way to make this work with custom/modded cultures?

I ask specifically as I'd like to make this work with the Kemetic culture mod, but need to know what files I have to edit to patch it in.

@kgeo Sorry, it may only work on a new game, there is no other way. You may replace game files with those from Flavour packs, just to have vanilla arts repalced. But for all cultures you need to start a new game with mod activated

Any way to make it work on an existing save?
Loading my save, any MAA that already exist are still called by their basic names, and therefore all inherit the picture of the chosen flavor pack.
i.e. All generic MAA across the world and Mercs(until they refresh)

No, not at all. It's a very solid and honestly the only time I remember it does this is when I go to create new MAA lol. The only other mod that even comes close has been abandoned but even it didn't adjust the vanilla art for MAA, just the names.

@TacticalDadBod Yep, I understand that, but it is impossible to cover all cultures easily.. You may edit the translation though, and leave just "Skirmishers" for example without "Scottish", if such historical inaccuracy is too strong for you here

My only dislike of this mod is that some early cultures have their medieval counterpart MAA. For example Pict, Gael, etc in Alba will get "Scottish" troops in the 867 start. Otherwise it's an amazing mod.
