That aircraft has extremely similar performance to the T-55, and would probably make this mission a ton of fun as opposed to the F-45 which really just makes it too easy for higher skilled players.
The missions even for just the t55 and the helo is too easy. Throw in more AA, IRAPC and the occasional SA or even SAM.
Make infantry clusters larger, this will allow the helo to shine. The helo should have access to closer rearming points. No one likes to fly 20NM to rearm with the helo.
However, since both of them are DLC aircraft, I decided to include the F-45s so those who only have the base game can play it as well. Perhaps I've failed to communicate you're encouraged to take the lower performance craft if you have them.
Both comments raise good points though - perhaps I could have two versions of this mission, this one (for those who don't have the DLCs) and one that's closer to the original vision.
Firstly, the choice of having a majority F-45As is strange. With a completely unrestricted arsenal and a full lobby of people the mission can be steamrolled in ~15 minutes with next to no effort required. Having the T-55s becomes basically pointless.
I think it'd be better if the mission leaned in more onto the lighter aircraft like the T-55 and AH-94, foregoing the F-45A entirely. This would overall lead to a more interesting and longer experience than what is present right now.
