Okay I took a super long hiatus off this mod and had absolutely no idea it broke way back in March-ish due to an update. It is now fixed lol.

the impending doom of the death barrier/ maybe exploding falling down highway behind you while stronger and stronger enemy waves infront of you. you need to keep punching wholes through the enemy line moving but wreaking havok along the way would be cool

That's the next idea I am going to implement, actually, with a twist. The idea is that at the start of the map there's 4 orbs floating in the air off the side of highway, and hitting/"scoring" the orbs with grenades will trigger allies to spawn in the section the orb is tied to.

Now mind you if the implementation of scoring for allies turns out not to be good, or it turns out to be too redundant-I'll just make it so there's allies spawned at the start of each section like normal.

Endless firefight style? Moving death barrier of some kind? I love that idea, and I will definitely keep that in mind. Definitely gonna be tough to implement, but I am fairly certain it's possible even in this ole' engine.

This would be a crazy endless firefight style mode! Even higher stakes if there was some kind of guaranteed death slowly creeping behind to force you to move forward

That's strange. It's an ODST solo/co-op map so it should show up in the campaign section. If not, try un-subbing and re-subbing.

That might be a good idea actually. I'll look into the implementation of it. Hopefully it doesn't destroy the engine's memory lol, I already had a fight with that when making the first version of this mod.
