the strait from constantinople to galata is incorrect. it connects from 151 to 316, rather than 151 to 5498

Hey guys, I have pushed another major update. This time "More African provinces" mod is integrated, bringing over 500 new provinces. If you are still in the middle of playthrough, use the collection in description to get previous version that is compatible with savegame.

Also this update brings fixes and balancing. You can check more details in changenotes of workshop item.

@ZeKomanda Yea EUExpanded has countries like Galicia in a PU with Castile already and also unique mission trees so there probably will be some incompatibilities on that part but it would be amazing to get a separate mod that makes both compatible or if its apart of Comprehensive Map mod but other than that I love the mod good job on what you've made

@Chevalier Sabre I haven't tested yet but probably there are some incompatibilities as Europa Expanded started to modify map history a bit.
I think it will need some compatibility patch but should be 95% compatible already

@MSTVD Cossack culture is already in mod and can appear once Zaporozhian Sich is established which can happen in ~1550 historically OR via decision if conditions are met

Ottomans start at full Gov Cap, Castile can never form Spain even with ducats and manpower given to them by Console.

Other than that, geniuenly fun mod, adds a whole lot of flavor

It looks cool but breaking up castile and just leaving portugal and aragon there is a bad idea. I ran 2 games and both times castile has gotten carved up and just isnt strong enough at game start. even having just leon would probably be enough to save them

I think Ming's provinces have been added too much, and AI Oirat is almost unable to defeat Ming .

@Life Well, it kinda supposed to be. Ming really struggles with autonomy and gov cap on start so it's fairly limited in usage of it's own resources.
Anyway, I will try to balance things once the map is stable enough. Would you like to create a steam discussion regarding Ming balancing?

@Saul Goodmann I would say it's out of scope of this mod as I try to focus on tags that were historically present in 1444-1821.
However, it can be put into some submod

@ZeKomanda About Beyond Typus and Atlas Novum, I agree completely. LiT also did a great trade-region job IMO. Thank you so much for this mod, I'm playing right now and this with the expanded mods and europa expanded really solved my LiT craving.

@VFacure Unfortunately any trade region mod won't be compatible as it doesn't know anything about newly added provinces.
Once the whole map is stable a bit, I would update trade regions too. The approach would be to add new trade regions without removing vanilla ones. I think what Atlas Novum or Beyond Typus do with trade regions is quite cool. Probably I will take inspiration from one of those mods

Actually, I will just put province triggered modifier from Development Points into CM's province file. It won't hurt setups without Dev Points and CM will be compatible with it.

I will either remove unmodified vanilla history and common/countries files or will release a compatch with Development Points instead (it needs balancing anyway for map with more provinces).

So im playing this mod with the mod development points and there is a compatibility issue. I actually found the problem, its that the mod dev points adds a province modifier to province 1303. That modifier is basically the backbone of the entire thing. This mod also has a file for that province, meaning that it overrides the modifier, rendering dev points useless. To fix just go to this mods folder, then history/provinces and delete the file 1303 - Tyrrenean Sea.txt. That fixes it, altough not for an already ongoing save game. Also with an update to this mod the change would get reset, so youd have to do it again or just make a local copy of this mod and make the change there, tho that means whenever there is an update you dont automatically get it. @ZeKomanda maybe you could just remove every province file thats not new with your mod from the history/provinces folder, as they arent needed anyway. That would fix this issue and other potential issues of that sort for everyone :)

even while playing with responsible warfare, ottomans has about 500k troops in 1560ish. I think force limit from provinces should be halved, or so, to compensate for the new provinces.

@Your Looksmaxxer in Chief Ahah, that's very strange behaviour considering mod does not modify AI in any way. My guess is that Kyiv is the only province worth developing, e.g. it has cloth and trade center while other provinces in that area are just grain/livestock etc

not sure if this is consistent, but i had a game as lithuania where kyiv didnt develop anything BUT its capital, meaning kyiv was 45 dev and the rest of the country was 3 and 4 dev. I did dev it earlier for the lithuanian mission, but only to 20. regardless its very funny to see the city of worlds desire be upset by a long lasting kyiv subject.

@Shadow Dragon I believe EE changes map history. You would be able to start the game but it's possible some countries borders will be weird. I would create a compatch at some point in future
