@奥威尔·切瑞先生 @JQK1212 It should work, although I don't normally use it.

I'll try with minor faction potential turned off and see what happens

After using this mod quite a bit I'm pretty sure it is applying the bonus to minor factions and not major

@JP @LazerKjell I'll try to review it when I can, maybe you have another mod that modifies this too, try to load it with higher priority

@incata i also think minor factions got the boost for som reason i had a lot of minor factions dominating

@Incata, I think minor factions are getting buffs as well (or major factions are treated as minor somehow). I had this mod installed but hadn’t played the game for a while. I just started playing again and noticed major factions are getting wiped out from turn 1, and I was wondering which mod might be causing this.

@Cookie95 Probably not, I wouldn't recommend using it with that mod.

Does this interact with the Old World mod? I tried about 20 turns and it seems to be incompatible, as although the game runs fine, every AI faction was extremely weak. So I assume there's some kind of "list of all factions" element in your mod, and as it's a different list that doesn't match Old World's factions, the game just defaults them all to 0 faction potential?

Anyway, not a complaint! Was just testing. Cool idea. Anything that creates more difficulty is good.

@Witchdoctor Normally, it is not necessary to modify the load order, as this is only important when two mods modify the same entries in a table.

For example, in this case, if you are using my AI anti-cheat mod that removes faction potential and this one, which uses it to give random bonuses, only the one with higher priority in the load order will take effect.

In this case, if you use both mods and what you want is to remove the generic ones and apply these, this mod would need to have higher priority to apply its effects. To achieve this, if you are using the game's built-in mod manager, it should be placed lower in the list—for example, AI anti-cheat at position 1 and faction potential at position 2.

If you are using the Mod Manager tool, it should be the other way around—AI anti-cheat at 2 and faction potential at 1.

@incata I was wondering if you could show your mod load order or just use the default order? Basically about this mod as most the most I looked at it doesn't say much about load order besides this mod. If you can't no worries. Maybe there is a rule of thumb to follow with mod order?

@Tesrali I usually play on the highest difficulty but disable some things. From there, I add more difficulty mods or remove some that decrease difficulty, depending on my preference. If the last game seemed too easy, I increase the difficulty; if I was brutally defeated in the last game, I lower it. But I always adjust it with mods

Love these lightweight and big impact mods. <3

What difficulty do you enjoy using this on? I have a pretty whacky loadout at the moment involving some of yours and some of Cerbs difficulty mods (Scaling difficulty https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3242672932&searchtext=scaling+difficulty and Dying Races.)

Pog
Thats cool
Incata  [author] 8 Jan @ 12:25am
@Deeyourelf It means that it is a random value between those two

Dumb question, but when you say +50/+40, what does the / mean?
