for what Dr. quacker was saying, if it the same as me it on game start and may need to restard 2 to 3 time before a game manage to actually start (probably something to do whit us surviving the engine blowing up as the game dont put any screen whit end game notice even though the engine activated, and the modif off all system, turning an entire galaxy into scrap probably dont help)

@A Crazy All i can say is I went thru all my Crisis mods and it waasnt one of those so check it off the list. That leaves Mega-structures/stations, Solarsystem/Galaxy Gen, then UI mods (though many UI mods be broke right now). I am back at school and have less tome to game and trouble shoot

As for what's breaking... oh gee I'm pretty unversed in modding but it could be anything. Do you mean it crashes when you're launching Stellaris or when you're starting a new save? Either way, it's probably a conflict between this mod and another one that messes with the same files... the error.log file (generally in documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/logs) should tell you what's wrong. My suspects would be mods that affect megastructures, galactic crises, and stars/solar systems/galaxy generation. I just tested it with the mods I have downloaded (Gigastructures, UI overhaul, Real Space, and a couple others) and it worked (though Gigastructures spawns its special systems after game start which means they survive the rapture).

@Dr Quackers thank you, glad you like the mod! I've been thinking a lot about adding an event chain or something like it that guides you through the process of discovering new untouched solar systems (probably involving the L-Gates somehow to make sure those things have a use besides being scrappable, and likely requiring already having found the Aetherophasic Engine and the Hauer system). Having a different version of the origin that STARTS with a lot of healthy systems would be a bit tricky and annoying to script in (and would make the other untouched systems less special imo).

Also I agree with lemons. Why does it have to remain a joke. A mod that makes the game start after a galactic apocalypse but takes it self seriously and leaves a few planet to fight over by the primitives who come after sounds fun. Really Fun!

Okay, I will definitely look into this! Maybe not access to the default L-Cluster, but I will definitely think about providing some interesting way to use the L-Gates

and the quest start like the normal cluster quest, but something pop up for a bit out of the gate and show some signe of potential hope, even if it may be a bit of a last energy spark coming from the gate (the engine was build, the cluster probably got open, so energy restored to the network)

i would love acces to the cluster, like a quest to get a foothold that can somewhat work and is not fully destroy
yes it may have taken the hit from the engine, but because of it nature it did not take a full destruction, most world remain broken but still have some resource accesible, or the world that where nanite where somewhat protected by the swarm and even if they nanite are now offline, the planet themself are closer to being normal thant the entire galaxy

@Ocomunepom I don't have any plans to add L Cluster access as in the mod's lore it was also destroyed, but there is (as of this most recent update) a feature where you can reignite some of your galaxy's stars and turn them into useful systems. Hopefully that feature works! Also, if L Cluster access is something really desired, I can put in a path to access it

@alfharobby Yeah I found out about that mod just after uploading this one, I personally like that it feels much less overpowered. The black holes added by the mod are incompatible with a lot of other megastructures because in the mod's lore most of their mass was stripped away by the Aetherophasic Engine and so they aren't "normal" useful black holes anymore. There are still some normal black holes that you can use for megastructures (and I can up the spawn rate for those if desired)

this mod remind me A Cradle at the End of Time - Total Overhaul and Origin mod except without the Overpowered Origin and Civic.

but why did you make the Black Hole incompatible with other mod?

I have a bug to report. I cannot construct black hole observatories around any of the black holes.

LEMONS? I think the original concept which brought the mod to life back when it was a joke for April fools would be entirely removed and moot if you did that. As the entire appeal, at least to me, is that the galaxy *WAS* destroyed.

I LOVE the concept of this mod, can't wait to try it out when I get the chance.

But could there be a second origin where like 20% or so systems are normal? I would love for the galaxy to be devastated like this, but I feel like if EVERYTHING was an uninhabited black hole it could get kinda old. Thanks for the experience anyways!

Gestalts are now allowed, and you should now be able to build matter decompressors around the mod's black holes!

Pretty fun mod so far. Worker Cooperatives definitely seem like the way to go for this since mutual aid basically covers all your basic resources.

I honestly might fix the planet class thing in the base mod, it’s just for a bit of localization flavor text with the added benefit of making it slightly harder to find a “real” black hole for a matter decompressor
