- Remove Endworm's health regeneration and instead have it regenerate armor over time.
- Make Endworm's bite a weapon rather than a creature attack.
- Lower the cooldown of Endworm's bite significantly.
- Make Endworm's bile give some sort of poison to any human it hits to give it a proper way to kill.
- Increase the lethality of Overseer's monsters. If it's supposed to be a fragile summoner, their current largest creature should be their new smallest. It should be summoning Matriarchs and Molochs, maybe even a Latcher as a mega attack, not crawlers.
- The Enduratron should be in pulses. Instead of it being a thirty second long effect with a recharge of 10 minutes, it should be an immediate pulse on press that fully repairs the submarine with maybe four charges per round. Makes it less of an invincibility and more of an emergency full heal.
- All monsters other than the Leviathan feel incredibly weak compared to the power of the submarine. Endworm's cooldowns are incredibly long, making it difficult to keep up any pressure. Overseer is very fragile, and the guns on the submarine tear through anything it can summon. Clownhead simply didn't even work when we tried spawning in as it.
- The Submarine is almost absurdly powerful when used by someone who knows how to use it. 32 fixfoam grenades go a LONG way when used alongside the already existing 30 second auto-repair. Also, the flak gun does an INSANE amount of damage and effectively prevents any monster from being in that general area of the submarine.
We also updated the mod
We actually did it for some time after initial release
As for the new ones - we'll see. We had one extra Yibaka since the release, but it had perfomance issues and it still has.
Long story short - if we ever manage to pull ourselves and make an update - it wont be any time soon
I used AI to slightly enhance some of the creature renders (which were also made by me) for previews, that's all
If you want to append pool of playable Yibakas with any vanilla or even custom creatures you can follow README on our Github: https://github.com/MeMyselfJustice/Versus-PvPMode-Barotrauma/tree/main
If you want multi-monster battles, just start Versus event several times and engage against several Yibakas simultaniously)
Versus is not really intended for that, as this neglects the core idea of providing an asymmetrical *PvP*.
You can, however, fill the sub with human bots, assign tasks to them, and then fight against them as Yibaka - this would be sort of a single-player approach? I still highly recommend to play in an online lobby
We are happy to hear that you like our creatures, and we don't mind if you borrow them - as long as you add our mod somewhere in credits wherever you are planning to use them!
I also suggest you to keep an eye on Versus - we just might add a new unique creature to our mod - I'm positively sure you would love it
If you have any questions - DM me
Be aware, it was intended to play in Sandbox due to respawn is DISABLED in ALL vanilla gamemodes when Versus mod is active. But as you wish)
