Correct.
Your best bet to find Aiming and Reloading books are gunstores, police stations and military surplus stores. I always get my full set looting from those.
Also thanks. :)
I tried to verify integrity before i read your post. that seem to have fixed it.
Wish PZ wasnt such a frankensteins monster..
Make sure the mod shows up in your workshop/content/108600 folder.
Other than that, I can't help with it. Could be the unstable being unstable.
Unfortunately due to how PZ handles loot, this mod would only affect areas that you have NOT visited yet. Meaning that any area that you can see in your world map will stay unaffected.
Adding this mod to your save should be 100% safe though, because it only does some very simple lua table inserts.
If you want to be extra safe though, just make a backup of your save first. :)
Should be a separate sandbox option for literature, skill books, and recipe magazines.
I really oughta learn how to do sandbox options but I have no idea where to even begin lol.
But I'm thinking I'll drop the rates added by this mod by 50% and we should still end up with plenty of skill book spawns.
I'm going to nerf this mod just a tad at some point because currently the increase in skill books is approximately a metric f*** ton.
If you wanna be extra safe though, you could always backup your save first.
to put it into perspective, even on "abundant" loot settings for "literature" there were still only skill books in 2 out of all the bookshelves in the rosewood school. also the problem with using sandbox settings to fix this is that there's no sandbox setting for *just* skillbooks. increasing literature spawns increases ALL book spawns. i don't want to drown in books, i just want more skillbooks. so this mod is preferable.
Yeah you're wrong :D
In B42 the bookstore/school/university loot tables draw from absolutely massive pools the new customized books and magazines. And I mean just the new books and magazines, not skill books.
This mod inserts all skill books into those generic "book" pools, so that the game won't end up creating an entire freaking library with 3/4 of it filled by nothing but those unhappiness/stress books.
Yeah that one does things differently. Really cool stuff.
I'll probably nerf this one a bit at some point but for now it can stay as it is. That was an insane amount of mindless clickywork I had to go through. :D
