actually i midly solve the problem just adding fewes arms with compresed hl2 styled textures
but anyway, i prefer this vanilla-friendly version of the mod because doesn't have mmod support, or modifies too much the sounds

the only thing that this needs is a fix for that hev arms bug

Last stuff I'll suggest before shutting up is:

-The bugbait should have a throwing sound like the grenade newly has in the reanimation

-The pistol, RPG, and I think 357 (I forget probably check them all) play the tf2 draw sound inconsistently. You could remove them all or add them to each of the weapons

-Since the RPG uses tf2's rocket reload sound, I think the grenade might as well should have the pinpull sound from css upon drawing it

-The shotgun still ejects shells from the heat shield, and also I while it's not in the OG reanimation mod I think the shotgun ejecting 2 shells from a double blast like in hl1 would be cool

-The AR2 and SMG have (kind of) misaligned muzzleflash placements in default FOV

-The SMG should have its worldmodel from the pseudo-MMOD version

-Replacement for the v_models

I really don't wanna be annoying as hell but I'll ask for alt versions one last time because I find the ar2 mag reloading super annoying and I'd really like the innaccurate shotgun reloading animation 🙏

are you still wanting to update this? there's a few animations from newer versions of the workshop mod (I think, one I can think of is one crossbow reload that shocks your hand) and there's still the juniez and alternate versions.

a neat idea I had If you get to updating this, do you think you could include the inspect animations from the mmod version (just without sound) as random idle animations sort of like hl1?

I know you've done a lot for this addon, but could I trouble you, and ask if you could as well, reorganize the models's .qc files so that the sequence order of each weapon are the same as base gmod? They're not right now, and it causes the weapons to play their animations incorrectly on servers without the addon installed

That's a model replacement, so it won't work with reanimations

the stretchy arms most likely caused by the definebone existing.
try removing them to see if it works.
i tried just that somehow that worked

Holy source spaghetti (4 hours later i know but better late then never), It does work!
That means it has all of the reanimations from your mod with 0 problems now.

AR2 is likely broke because of the corrective animations.
try decompile the one from half-life 2, and move the corrective animation to the reanimated ones.

it worked for me, should be the solution.

I've posted my version with Mmod support.

you can keep this up, might as well update it with the current version that uses c_hand rig.
that way you can keep this as the "default" vanilla option without the mmod enhancements.

crossbow clipping was fixed as well

only the crowbar is remaining

(also don't delete, just put the link to official version once it comes out in the description since others will not delete their versions)

oh and also try rigging crowbar anims on the stunstick as well

in fact, you could just ask mtb themselves to help you out, or they'll maybe port their own pack themselves to the gmod workshop.
