Definitely has come a long way since I first played it with only the first level. The weapon sandbox is good and offers good variety for combat. the promethean guns are well made and unique. Covenant guns feel familiar yet new in some ways. UNSC weapons are alright, the SMG needs a damage increase, Magnum and BR are ok but the AR kills faster with accurate bursts, the shotty and DMR feel heavy and hard hitting love those. The hydra is odd, I don't understnad why it was made a turret weapon as it doesn't really fit the weapon look. All other guns are good.

The enemies are fair and challenging on Heroic which is the difficulty I tend to always play so my opinions may be affected by that if the mod is meant to be played on Normal like most. I did really enjoy the H4 music as I love some of those suspense and creeoy tunes. Overall a great mod and well done.

Good stuff. The camera fx were really nice especially on Canyon. Gameplay was a really fun clash of generations. My brain kept getting weirded out with Halo 3's gameplay but Halo 4 models. In a good way. Great work!

Alright, sounds resonable.

It is still cursed to see h4 ar with 60 rounds mag, h4 jackals next to bungie looking covennant or elites running with storm rifle while using only one hand.

Well made pack of nightmares. I think it would be better to mix Reach assets with 4 and keep stuff from 3 out of it.

Gameplay itself is gold thou, fun maps and fights.

@Terragis: Been having a friend help with co-op testing, hopefully will work in 2.1 patch! Don't worry, Flood will definitely make an appearance, with some fun new tweaks...!

@KatanaToraSan: The first mission of S2 should be coming out in the next couple of weeks!

@OldSport: Halo 4 modding is incredibly difficult and the tools break regularly. Sound and model importing takes a lot longer too. It's 100x easier to backport what I need to the older engines.

Guessing it's a season 2 update thing then, thought it was just really odd that back in March promethean weapons were changed to anti-flood, we had the cruiser mission, then 2.0 and still haven't fought them haha. I like the mod though for sure, just hope co-op gets ironed out for it someday.

So am I misunderstanding or is it not possible to fight the flood at all? I saw through the patch notes multiple mentions of a "flood lab" and even before 2.0 the patch noes mention promethean weapons being anti-flood, the cutscene looking at the tank looked like it was trying to set something up but I never fought any. The lab, if that even was it, was pretty small.

Designed mostly for singeplayer, yeah. I couldn't get co-op to work quite right---but some missions might work for it. Let me know which one had the black screen so I can look into it!

Absolute Cinema! it took a few minutes to adjust to halo 4s art style in halo 3 but in no way did that take away any of the charm and awesome level design here,

I do love the halo CE bungie era level design and while a lot of the structure is essentially Halo CE level design, in halo 4s art style in halo 3s sandbox, i really enjoyed it and you can tell it was made by a very passionate team/Author, my only gripes are with the final story beat, i was very confused with who the purple spartan was and where he can from, i could barely hear what the NPCs were saying half the time, but when i could hear it, it was well written, some lines from your cast i do feel could of had a little more punch and energy to their lines but overall solid script.

If you are in need of any more voice talent I'd love to help free of charge, i do voice acting on the side i'd love to lend my voice to your project and help out in anyway i can!

Yeah, no this is a hard pass for me. If your definition of balanced is to spam as many enemies as possible all at once while waiting for a door to open with little cover and ridiculously spongy enemies (Brutes mainly) on the FIRST level on Heroic difficulty while the player does almost nothing, then I fear what you consider fair with Legendary.

I'm working on a patch for the first season specifically aimed at weapon balance and enemy health! Please let me know if there were any other issues so I can make sure they're addressed in the update!

@Renee: Undertstood! I'll be sure to adjust enemy/player health values and adjust weapon damage/availability for the update!

@Ace_Skeletonne: Did you find the rocket launcher and dead ODSTs around the area before the snipers/shades? There should also be some equipment placed around too. I'll check and see if they aren't spawning correctly on other difficulties and balance as needed! Thank you for the honest feedback!

really cool mod with gorgeous environments and unique usage of assets from all different eras but some encounters are really frustrating. the red brutes are far too tanky, the mission where you have to backtrack through the valley and theres 2 jackal snipers and 2 shade turrets with no way to deal with them is cheap even on heroic and the lack of ammo feels like youre throwing pebbles at the covenant, i constantly found myself having to resort to plasma pistol and needler for the majority of the last mission which wasnt great

SCRATCH that last comment. The weapons and enemy health need SERIOUS balancing. Tried going thru Heroic instead this time.

Tried to stick a brute and the plasma landed between his feet, figured it would kill him, especially considering I had the grenade skulls on for more damage..... it did not.

Tried kill a brute with a shotgun at point blank, 1st shot, then melee'd, then a SECOND shot.... still alive

Picked up a hidden mauler and suddenly im 1 and 2 shotting enemies, also seemed to have extra melee damage. Felt great, but maybe it just felt normal.

Couldn't finish the mod. Seems it's not a difficulty thing, just feels like there's too many bullet sponges with very little player lethality. If a Halo player finds themselves gravitating towards headshot weapons on HEROIC just to avoid spending hours wittling down enemies with everything else, something is wrong.

INCREDIBLE Mod, but some of the damage or health values need to be adjusted to make this enjoyable on legendary.

Legendary seems to be a headshot weapon only mode since bullet weapons do no damage to flesh, and even then headshots dont feel strong. The sniper does not one shot brutes and elites to the head for example. During the second brute encounter on the first map they got stuck on covenant barriers so I had the chance to sit there and attempt to kill them with my Assault Rifle....... I gave up after 4 magazines, and this was after i shot his head with a sniper.

I love the weapon variety and I dont think EVERY weapon has to be S-Tier, but there shouldn't be any D or F tier weapons in the sandbox

Very enjoyable mod! Third level (Canyon) was by far and away my favorite. Fun level design and encounters on that one, Prometheans added on to the level without feeling forced. Looking forward to more of your campaigns in the future :)

Was really impressed how you got the Sabre to work in Halo 3s engine, overall the level was to easy but otherwise really quite impressive.
