Cool mod, my only suggestion would be more aggressive expansion when consolidating imperial circles... It should be at least 50+ for the amount of countries / land being absorbed.

Thanks, I checked everywhere but the influence tab
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 3. juni kl. 14:43
@Bohemia
If you're the Emperor and they're a HRE member, you should have a diplomatic action to convert them to an Imperial Circle, in the Influence tab.
Bohemia 3. juni kl. 9:40
Hi, Just curious on how to turn Bohemia and Switzerland into Imperial Circles, I have vassalised Bohemia through a war, but I have no option, is there a specific thing I need to do to Circle them?
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 2. juni kl. 14:56
[RE] Chrobo
No, but they'll gain a lot of liberty desire if their overlord isn't the Emperor.
[RE] Chrobo 1. juni kl. 2:33
Do the subjects get transferred if a new Emperor is elected?
GallimimusJTM 23. apr. kl. 8:29
When clicking the decision the only option that shows up is nevermind?
Dimonius 22. apr. kl. 16:18
I think IC should give force limit bonus to overlord, or u can be very weak as imperor, when u choice not expand much. Same as a little of manpower, just because - when u made IC, u lost many princes, so u lost manpower from it as emperor.
Dimonius 21. apr. kl. 11:05
Great concept and realization. But what we really need is variability. As already noticed in the comments - why if the emperor is Italian, he should give Venice to the Austrian circle? Similarly for countries like Saxony/Bavaria, why can't they create a circle around themselves without giving away some territories?
And it would be logical to add still the possibility to create imperial circles on the territory of France, if this territory is included in the empire. And most likely for Naples.
Clark Crente 22. mar. kl. 7:56
Hey, have you ever thought about make it as a reform (or part of a vanilla one) using as a modifier bonus for both emperor and member of each circle?

There is now a Discord for feedback & discussion of this and my other mods. See the link in the description!

@bees
I’ll also probably change it so that if your capital is in Italy, the Austrian circle will only get Austrian lands
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 4. mar. kl. 12:38
@bees
Yes, it’s possible I’ll make it more flexible in the future. But for now, in the post-war event you get admin points for every dev that was annexed by the Imperial Circle, which will offset much of the coring costs spent. I may also increase the consolation rewards with ducats, etc.
bees 4. mar. kl. 11:00
howdy! I've been loving the mod so far on a Milan run, but I was wondering if it'd be possible to add an option to keep land that you personally own when you consolidate a circle? making the Austrian circle, for instance, made me lose the Po Valley and Venice to it, both of which were some of my best lands
Stuff_the_Second 16. feb. kl. 13:49
Suggestion: add a decision, war goal, or make a separate version of this mod that groups up provinces by states instead by culture such as Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Mittlemark, Neumark, etc.
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 14. feb. kl. 8:18
@The Strategist
I wanted to keep it mostly to the historical extent of the Reichskreise, so no plans for France at the moment.
The Circles keep their normal mission trees, but any conquest missions that are blocking economic/dev missions in their trees are auto-completed.
The Release Free City decision is coded to spread the released cities around different Circles as much as possible, but for now it will remain random to avoid bloat.

"I need more Spätzli" lol
The Strategist 28. jan. kl. 11:24
I have a few questions if its appropriate... A question will the imperial circles obtain unique subject orientated mission trees? Also will France be divided into possible circles so as to truly obtain Charlemagne's Legacy, and lastly will choosing where to release free cities become more a choice later or still random? I sincerely thank you for your time and Amazing mod I love it!

Thank you!! I was mistaken! Have a great day!
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 14. jan. kl. 18:32
@illlililiilili
You would just need to change the legitimate elector modifier in 000_IC_static_modifiers.txt from 0.1 to whatever you need it to be.
illlililiilili 14. jan. kl. 18:21
I want to create compatibility between this mod and another mod( Imperial Ascendancy , Holy Roman Empire Expanded ), but I'm not sure how to prevent the Imperial Circle from decreasing IA. Do you know anything about this?
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 14. jan. kl. 6:30
@Shmuel
I’ve never used Beyond Typus, but there might actually not be a conflict because on actions were changed to be additive in 1.36.
✡Shmuel✡ 14. jan. kl. 5:09
I believe Beyond Typus has some changes to war declaration, would a compatch with BT be something on the table?
illlililiilili 14. jan. kl. 3:36
Oh, sorry, it was a mod compatibility issue.
illlililiilili 14. jan. kl. 0:52
When I made an Elector part of an Imperial Circle, Imperial Authority decreases by 0.5 per month.
Since an Imperial Circle provides 0.1 Imperial Authority per month, is this considered an offset modifier?
illlililiilili 13. jan. kl. 20:14
modifier? +0.10 imperial authority?
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 13. jan. kl. 19:38
No. You get a modifier from Imperial Circle electors that offsets the negative IA modifier.
illlililiilili 13. jan. kl. 18:14
Thank you for your answer. And one more question. Does Imperial Authority decrease if an Elector belongs to an Imperial Circle?
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 13. jan. kl. 15:42
@illlililiilili
AI Emperor can turn their high dev vassals/PUs into Imperial Circles, but the CB decision is disabled for AI because they would just waste Imperial Authority on CBs for wars they can't win.
illlililiilili 13. jan. kl. 15:25
Can AI use this feature?
Shadow Dragon 13. jan. kl. 13:49
Neat idea.
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 11. jan. kl. 15:31
Also, you will now gain some admin points for every dev you owned that was annexed by an Imperial Circle after the war.
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 11. jan. kl. 15:30
@A1mighty1
Thanks for the suggestion! That was my original intention, but I don't think it's possible to prevent separate peace without using actual coalitions and the coalition CB. However, I just updated the mod to give +50 War Enthusiasm (same as a League War) to nations on both sides. This is the best I can do for now, hopefully it will make it a bit more challenging!
A1mighty1 11. jan. kl. 3:31
Love this! This mod is making my Austria form Germany game take on a fun HRE vibe that normal Germany games don't have. One suggestion I have is to change the war to a coalition type so that the participants cant be individually peaced out. If you just wait until you can white peace the powerful nations you can essentially beat just an OPM and still get all the land.
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 3. jan. kl. 10:40
Mod has been updated so that if there are no nations left with their capital in the Imperial Circle region, you will gain the CB on any nation that owns land there instead.
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 29. nov. 2024 kl. 14:07
@PhilosopherKing You only get the CB against tags with their capital in the area, so maybe you're not getting the CB because there are no tags left with their capital there? I might change it so it's any tag with owned land instead of capital. Not sure what would cause your issue with Arles but I'll look into it
PhilosopherKing 29. nov. 2024 kl. 11:36
also Arles randomly broke off
PhilosopherKing 29. nov. 2024 kl. 11:34
clever thing with netherlands
PhilosopherKing 29. nov. 2024 kl. 10:57
I really enjoy using this mod, but it starts to not gove the cassus bellis about 2 or 3 circles in, also it might be helpful to take the options of the event after one formes them. just a suggestion. Very cool subject type tho. thanks very much for the mod :)
KillWonder 24. nov. 2024 kl. 15:30
Thanks but no thanks. Not really my cup of tea this mod. As there are more states I wish to see in my game like Genoa, Florance, Milan and Brandenburg among a few.
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 24. nov. 2024 kl. 14:36
@KillWonder the dukes of Bavaria and Carinthia controlled that land for 200 years while it was a march of the Empire. However I just added an event allowing the release of Verona as a march of the Austrian Circle if you so choose.
KillWonder 24. nov. 2024 kl. 7:41
Austria shouldn't control Venetian lands
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 23. nov. 2024 kl. 5:10
@Ckasaron what makes you think that? With Imperial Circles subjects you gain nothing from Revoking the Privilegia. On the other hand with decentralized you can have 8 subject electors with buffed manpower and tax (there’s an event that will make one of your Imperial Circles the 8th elector). I also recommend playing with EE which makes the Geteilte Macht reform unlock Imperial Titles for HRE members which are another buff to your subjects.
Ckasaron 23. nov. 2024 kl. 3:44
This makes going centralized even more of a no-brainer. Any thoughts on what could be done to make the decentralized path actually worthwhile for more than "haha funny multiplayer roleplay"?
Space 23. nov. 2024 kl. 0:28
@Nolexiis FR no way, kinda makes me feel I have made a mark on the eu4 modding scene despite being unable to code my own mod (for now, I have ambitious plans for unique regional cultures for every group for when they expand into new lands)

But this mod does look super cool and once I do my next HRE game I'm defs gonna use it and ty so much for acrually making all this cool content.
TIBERIUS EQUITIUS GRACCHUS 22. nov. 2024 kl. 18:16
This was a real blast to play with Austria's EE mission tree. Pity they don't have a newer HRE mission tree, but I had fun bringing basically all of Europe west of Russia under my domain.

Wish this was a thing in vanilla too, gives both historical flavor to the HRE and an awesome reward for your efforts in bringing the beast to heal.
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 21. nov. 2024 kl. 12:15
@Space I actually got the initial idea from Lia, one of EE's developers! I hope you enjoy my take on it!
Space 21. nov. 2024 kl. 8:04
I honestly love this mod, because I first suggested this as apart of HREE(due to my computer lagging with the subjects), before EE and EM split apart. Now seeing this kind astuff as its own standalone content is really cool. (btw I'm not trying to take credit for this idea, I'm just excited to see this kind of stuff in regards of the HRE being more prevalent now)
Nolexios  [ophavsmand] 20. nov. 2024 kl. 12:38
@Holtz there's an event that will split Netherlands from Burgundy. MTTH 20 years
