B41.78, UI sound doesn't work! I don't have any sound mods.
Nelson 3 Aug @ 1:15am
The TV audio is gone and messed up. ((Talking noices etc. are not working))
DixBFloppin 12 Jun @ 2:41pm
since this isnt the music one this is just eh overall ui and soundoverhaul of the stuff. The actual music mod steam://openurl/https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3354814779 is still stuck in build 41, so we just have too wait for them to update that for the music, unless someone does it first it just all depends. :lunar2020ratinablanket:

Hi, I love your mod, any mod that helps immersion is always great.

I had a question. Since your mod has to do with adding sounds that help immersion, I was wondering if you could update the "add Sounds effects to Item Action" mod {LINK REMOVED} or make a similar one of your own. Whatever your answer is, thank you very much for the effort!

it doesnt change true music item names
Warlin Door 19 Feb @ 6:57pm
is it compatible with tv and radio reinvented?
irrelevantredundancy 16 Feb @ 12:20pm
I am trying and struggling to watch the imbedded youtube video. It requires being signed into youtube (which I am) then the image changes to quickly to click on the "watch on youtube" link within the video player.

I second any possible cross compatibility as mentioned by @CarltoN and probably others.

I've tried both this, vanilla, and Tv & Radio ReInvented also seems great but I didn't like the radio disappearing (have learned if you place it the 'manual' way you can at least then right click the radio) or the lack of a functional readout showing the channel name if undiscovered/unfavorited or that I couldn't (at least find a way to) rename the manually saved channels. Both of these mods could make specifically make "searching" for AEBS or other unlisted channels much more authentic appearing/sounding and, IMO, easier on the user as well.

does this work with existing saves?
CarltoN. 4 Feb @ 11:46am
i suggested to the author of the new tv & radio reinvented mod that you guys work on compatibility to really take the media interactions to build43 level. :)

Klaarturo 21 Dec, 2024 @ 2:29am
Hopefully this mod will be updated for Build 42, it is one of my favorite mods. Please, when possible, I would love you to update it :)
Arlocke 26 Nov, 2024 @ 12:51pm
Well, as I said, the full version worked fine, but it's forced 3GB updates weren't practical for my small server (just because my server PC is slow; not your fault). I specifically cannot get this Lite mod to download and work. Already fixed corrupted files. It's just strange and I wanted to note it here in case someone else comes across the same issue. I have no clue what would be conflicting with this small Lite mod. :/
Muhrakk  [author] 25 Nov, 2024 @ 1:01pm
@Arlocke I've been using the original Spiffophonic Sound on my own personal dedicated server since release and it has been working fine, all on build 41.78.16.

I sincerely don't believe either of these mods should be causing severe issues due to their simple nature. When I generally have issues with mods, I have to uninstall and reinstall them due to Steam failing to download all included files. Maybe some of your game's files are corrupted or you've another mod that isn't playing nicely.
Arlocke 25 Nov, 2024 @ 10:55am
Can't install this on a dedicated server after the latest update.. I decided to remove the full version because it forced a 3GB redownload for a small addition. Changing to Lite version doesn't work though, I guess.. no idea why it errors out and fails. Just wanted to note it here; no clue if it's the mod's issue. I also verified all files on both server and game.

Great mod! Absolutely love it
Shal 22 Nov, 2024 @ 4:36pm
This was a new game. Dropping the item and picking it back up was the first thing I tried, with no effect. I'm loading this mod after everything else.
Muhrakk  [author] 22 Nov, 2024 @ 2:36pm
@gonna This mod won't conflict with True Music (TM) as it only changes names and adds sounds/icons. It doesn't alter TM’s items in any other way. Lite nor Xtra Lite don't add music so they can be used without installing TM.

@Ismællö @Shal I think I experienced something similar when loading into an already-existing save. The item’s names weren't changing right away unless I dropped it and picked it back up-- at least this was the issue with the Device Options window title. This is theoretical but I think it might have something to do with the way Zomboid caches(?) items that have already spawned. I would guess that items that have freshly spawned in *should* have the new names.

TM itself is a little odd since the required library mod (Tsar's Common Library 2.0) has all the EN translation names for the boombox, vinyl player, and walkman, while TM itself also has an EN translation file that only defines the walkman's name. Maybe it has something to do with mod load order?
gonna shit 22 Nov, 2024 @ 4:17am
it says true music doesnt requierd. they do conflict tho right?
Shal 21 Nov, 2024 @ 7:14pm
For some reason I'm not getting the renamed music player. I have the new icons and sound effects, but I've still got a Sany Wutman.
Ismællö 21 Nov, 2024 @ 7:10pm
Sounds I've heard are awesome, congrats! Only thing that didn't seem to work as intended was the name changes for the True Music mod (icons do work tho), any idea why?
Muhrakk  [author] 21 Nov, 2024 @ 10:54am
@Warink Yes, it is mid-game safe! I'm glad you asked. During playtesting, I didn't experience any issues when installing and uninstalling it to/from an already-existing playthrough.
Fox 21 Nov, 2024 @ 10:03am
finally, someone vanillafied the True Music Mod
Warink 21 Nov, 2024 @ 9:12am
is it mid-game save friendly?
mod looks great and i want to try it, but at the same time i don't want to corruptup few month in savefile
xConscrypt 21 Nov, 2024 @ 7:49am
True Music isn't required
H00FBL4ST 21 Nov, 2024 @ 3:31am
This is a addition for True Music, isn't it?
Muhrakk  [author] 20 Nov, 2024 @ 10:07pm
@albion Thank you! :slimetabby: While the original icons and names were fine, I couldn't help but try to make them blend in a little better with other vanilla items.
albion 20 Nov, 2024 @ 5:12pm
awesome! very big fan of the vanilla style names and icons
Muhrakk  [author] 20 Nov, 2024 @ 1:18pm
@DETOX Thank you!! You're very kind.
I wanted to replicate the look of older '80s and '90s magazine advertisements with my graphics, I'm so happy that you like them!
