I had a question. Since your mod has to do with adding sounds that help immersion, I was wondering if you could update the "add Sounds effects to Item Action" mod {LINKKI POISTETTU}(gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2840177363&searchtext=Sounds+items) or make a similar one of your own. Whatever your answer is, thank you very much for the effort!
I've tried both this, vanilla, and Tv & Radio ReInvented also seems great but I didn't like the radio disappearing (have learned if you place it the 'manual' way you can at least then right click the radio) or the lack of a functional readout showing the channel name if undiscovered/unfavorited or that I couldn't (at least find a way to) rename the manually saved channels. Both of these mods could make specifically make "searching" for AEBS or other unlisted channels much more authentic appearing/sounding and, IMO, easier on the user as well.
I sincerely don't believe either of these mods should be causing severe issues due to their simple nature. When I generally have issues with mods, I have to uninstall and reinstall them due to Steam failing to download all included files. Maybe some of your game's files are corrupted or you've another mod that isn't playing nicely.
@Ismællö @Shal I think I experienced something similar when loading into an already-existing save. The item’s names weren't changing right away unless I dropped it and picked it back up-- at least this was the issue with the Device Options window title. This is theoretical but I think it might have something to do with the way Zomboid caches(?) items that have already spawned. I would guess that items that have freshly spawned in *should* have the new names.
TM itself is a little odd since the required library mod (Tsar's Common Library 2.0) has all the EN translation names for the boombox, vinyl player, and walkman, while TM itself also has an EN translation file that only defines the walkman's name. Maybe it has something to do with mod load order?
mod looks great and i want to try it, but at the same time i don't want to corruptup few month in savefile
I wanted to replicate the look of older '80s and '90s magazine advertisements with my graphics, I'm so happy that you like them!
