I like this mod but hate the sickness thing. I try to play and keep the sub warm but it doesnt help that somehow the sub get cold every few mins and I have to rewarm it up myself and my crew always getting sick.

I figured out how to properly uninstall this. make sure all devices are turned off before removing mod or they will continue to make noise with no way to stop it. What i had to do was reinstall the mod, turn everything off, save, exit, uninstall mod, go back into save. No more phantom noises coming from my boat

I would love this mod but only if sicknesses etc would be removed. Why do modders always add extra stuff to their mods?

I have a question about the thermal layers:
In you description you write that there are different thermal layer thicknesses, while in the Config files it says "Deep, Middle and Low". So just to clarify: if I set it to "Deep" I will get a thicker layer, or will the layer start at a greater depth?

I disabled the mod, but now i permanately have the devices causing noise. i dont want to go back to a privious save if i dont need to.

Just something to consider but, having the warning that your crew is cold turn on the heater is not a good idea when your running silent trying to avoid death. It pops up more than I care to like, I'm pretty sure if the crew had to be cold or blown up at 200m below they would choose cold.

Any idea when this will get updated? Also is there a way to not use medkits for sea sickness? My crew burnt through all 4 starting medkits before we got to the patrol area of the first mission.

Uhm why is it constantly 4 degrees celsius outside the submarine... in late august and early september. I'm constantly having to turn the heater on during summer or the crew will freeze. What's the point of that.

This bug is difficult to replicate and I still don't know the conditions that cause it.

Please fix the bug regarding the heaters. First patrol, Heaters are on. yet im constantly being told to turn the heater on, all while crew members get sick anyway

I really want to like this mod but it boggs down the game so much I cant use it. I dont know if its because of the other mods ive got because I do have a lot of small mods I run. Also after running the mod my guys are now mindless asshats who dont want to do anything anymore.

...care to elaborate? How does it mess with the hydrophone? How did it ruin your save?
I installed the mod recently, on an already running save, works perfectly fine. The only hitch was that I had problems turning off the fridge one time.
So, mind sharing the details of what exactly is happening to so that we might actually judge for ourselves or are you just going to keep periodically blowing hot air onto your keyboard?

this mod ruined my save file to now its unplayable. seeing as how it was the only mod i had installed. My fault completely though its been months since it was last updated and the author of the mod stats clearly its not going to be updated any time soon.... so my advice dont install

the mod currently messes with the hydrophone and i dont recommend installing it at all at this point. if it was updated it would be another story as it was a very good mod but now..... it just messes up your save file. save yourself the headache

Btw, on the topic of heating. It can't be just me thinking that this inclusion, although kinda fun, seems a little strange? If we're looking through the realism lens everyone seems fond of that is.

Point being, we have this little heating element up in the ventilation keeping internal temp at 19 C so our sailors doesn't get cold. Simultaneously, it's situated above the two massive diesel engines that would dump a ton of heat straight into the sub, raising the internal temp to uncomfortable levels all throughout. What would seem to be the logical thing is to have AC (Air-Conditioning)? Similar mechanics but sort of reversed, trying to keep rising temps down so that our sailors don't get a heat stroke or something similar like that. Not meant as criticism, I love the mod really, just meaning to share my thoughts.

On the global map, from above, how many days in the sea tex is superimposed on the number of wind knots and the temperature of the weather there, the author please fix something he did not find damn

Tell me how to fix it in general according to the fashion with the water temperature from the right in the small window on the map where the temperature is written the inputs are overlaid with the old text I can't fix it myself

oh nevermind? it is slowly filling up, but the consumption in the tooltip still says (-3l/h) so im guessing that tooltip doesnt account for the water being produced it just says how much is being comsumed

Specifically, ECv2 claims https://www.desmos.com/calculator/komxf4fvzw reflects range efficiencies, with a peak at 120 (n?)mi. While DEM according to https://images.steamusercontent.com/ugc/4035125626278240/255F69AADB7F2E036119A59009D0614231101D16/?imw gives a range of 80 nautical miles (sm = seemeile).

What will the compatibility be like for this and Engine Control v2 be like? Both mods seem to want to affect the range of the uboat on electric. This mod (DEM) lists that it changes the efficiency for each gear, but I can't tell whether the RPM efficiencies are just solutions of an underlying curve that only DEM is editing, or whether ECv2 also edits the same vanilla efficiency curve, or whether both mods just do their own thing.

how do i increase the water production with expanded crews,.. 5 officers and 27 crew, = -6 lph
