There seems to be a very persistent error in the crash log pertaining to this mod:

@Hawaii-Dave-0 Yep, shouldn't need updates for the foreseeable future.
Hawaii-Dave-0 10 May @ 1:31pm
does this work for 1.16
Azerty 25 Apr @ 1:19pm
And here's an updated version. There were some grammar mistakes I didn't see, sorry :/ https://pastebin.com/aebyicX1
Augustus 24 Apr @ 8:33pm
@Some Nerd yeah I think it was the veteran thing. I failed to notice that. Silly me. Thanks!
Some Nerd  [author] 24 Apr @ 4:56pm
-Added French localization by Azerty
Some Nerd  [author] 24 Apr @ 4:51pm
@Azerty Thank you, I'll add it to the description as well

@Augustus This mod is virtually compatible with everything, check if the knight have the Veteran modifier. (They can't just be a knight, they need to have fought at least a battle as well.)
Augustus 24 Apr @ 8:06am
Does this mod still work or does it conflict with other mods? I have granted knights titles but they fail to receive the new trait.
Azerty 15 Apr @ 7:22am
Thank you for the mod !
Please find here it french localisation : https://pastebin.com/Pkvb11J5

@FenFenScreeScree
It can be simply done by few lines with customizable_localization.
If mod developer need such a feature, I can write the code for this
FenFenScreeScree 31 Mar @ 1:53pm
I concur with @PennTanker; if you could change the titles for landed knights whose highest title is a barony to Sir/Dame (or Ser for AGOT) that'd be NEAT as hell
Some Nerd  [author] 31 Mar @ 4:31am
Long-requested feature update!

-Knights (that are not your sons) that participates in battles will now get the "Veteran" modifier. Should make it easier to distinguish between veterans and non-veterans.

-I machine translated German and Russian descs for the modifier, but Chinese players should request an update from the sub-mod.

-And yes, this mod works fine with 1.5 and likely future updates as well, unless Paradox somehow fundamentally changes how combat or title works.

-Let me know if anything seems to be not working correctly.
SalahadDin 15 Mar @ 8:53pm
I love this mod so much, please update, thanks
Gwyncerbin 7 Mar @ 2:13am
For some reason, there are many error reports about on_add_vet_flag.txt . :cody:
aidayen 27 Feb @ 8:58am
Hey, cool mod, but can you make a balanced version? For example, remove additional income and stewardship.
PennTanker 23 Feb @ 8:46am
I don't know what the limitations of the CK3 engine are, but it'd be neat if you could add a special title prefix to the Landed Gentry.

Like, instead of "Count" or "Duke", they're "Sir/Dame" or "Huscarl/Shieldmaiden".
Jet 20 Feb @ 5:36am
my first landed gentry will be peej. He may think himself rabid but hes all bark
19Peej 16 Feb @ 11:59am
@Jet If you can do basic reading, he answered your question directly below yours.
Dee 13 Feb @ 11:26pm
i think its needs a little bit of a nerf
Jet 12 Feb @ 7:05pm
will the ai do this?
Some Nerd  [author] 9 Feb @ 8:49am
@rv @GG Terran

Yes to both.
rv 8 Feb @ 12:58pm
is this save game friendly? e.g adding this mod mid playthrough
GG Terran 6 Feb @ 8:25pm
AI also?
Some Nerd  [author] 5 Feb @ 2:56am
@Embersfall817 I'm not exactly sure, but you can give it a try. No harm, as at worst it just won't give the trait.

@emerald10005 Nice:steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup:
Embersfall817 4 Feb @ 3:20am
is it agot compatible?
Some Nerd  [author] 3 Feb @ 8:45pm
Again, definitely looking to do more substantial updates down the road.
Some Nerd  [author] 3 Feb @ 8:43pm
Update: Added Russian localization by M1ST0R, lemme know if it works fine or if I accidentally broke anything
Some Nerd  [author] 3 Feb @ 8:35pm
@Irish I think the idea is cool, but the trait is really more of a "supporting character" kind of role. So it might not make a lotta sense for the players to have it.

@emerald10005 Very cool! Please link it and I'll take a look.
emerald10005 3 Feb @ 4:16pm
Your mod was featured by CK3 🙂
Feudal 28 Jan @ 6:48pm
Fantastic mod! Bravo
It would be great if we as the knight (adventurer) could earn this trait and become a landed gentry, do you think this would be possible?
Some Nerd  [author] 26 Jan @ 9:22pm
Currently doing uni projects, will implement the "veteran status" indicator after I'm done with that.
Some Nerd  [author] 26 Jan @ 9:21pm
@LikkerdySplit +2 gold was changed to -50% MaA maintenance a long time ago, but I got lazy and haven't gotten around to take a new screenshot.
素素投祥 24 Jan @ 8:19am
Why can't House Knights get this trait? Does it have to be someone outside of the player's clan
AdanaCityPlayboy 24 Jan @ 1:37am
Oh my god @JSJosh with a super cool idea
JSJosh 9 Jan @ 10:10am
Also tossing my own random idea into the pile: perhaps the gentry's heir will have a 100% of getting the loyal trait for you bestowing their father, and the chance could decrease every subsequent heir (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%... or 100%, 50%, 25%, 12.5%...) until the first heir that doesn't get the loyal trait.
JSJosh 9 Jan @ 10:08am
@LikkerdySplit Its -15 to all vassals, and +5 to all fellow landed gentry; so -15 to non gentry vassals and -10 to gentry vassals. Although, your idea for courtly and glory hound vassals do sound kinda preferable! :)
LikkerdySplit 9 Jan @ 8:45am
I think the tax modifier is too much and the opinion modifier is odd, -15 for all vassals then +5 for same trait? So they will still have a -10 opinion toward each other?

Maybe you should make the opinion a negative for courtly vassals (they don't like people beneath them being promoted) and a positive bonus for glory hound vassals.
ArdentEye 7 Jan @ 12:48pm
I think the +2 flat gold per month is just too good.
Duck 2 Jan @ 12:09am
ditto
[23rd] Ozan 1 Jan @ 5:14am
How about you make the trait also increase the prowess? It'll be a nice way to get better knights too.
Some Nerd  [author] 30 Dec, 2024 @ 8:12pm
@Kayotik16 Yeah, shouldn't have conflicts.
Kayotik16 30 Dec, 2024 @ 6:07pm
does this work okay with Accolade Rework?
Some Nerd  [author] 29 Dec, 2024 @ 12:24am
@JSJosh I'll try over the next few weeks, but no promises.
JSJosh 21 Dec, 2024 @ 10:35am
Is there a way to make it so it will tell you if a knight will become Landed Gentry? Like in the Grant Title window perhaps? Because I gave a title to a knight that I swore would've been involved in at least one battle and they did not get the trait, I'm not sure if something slipped through the cracks or what, but it would be nice to know before I grant the title!
Some Nerd  [author] 9 Dec, 2024 @ 3:20pm
Heirs becoming gentry should be fixed now, I made it so that sons of a lord cannot become "veterans" by being their father's knight, so they'll never become gentry even when the father dies.

Make sense flavor wise as well, since the heir would have a pretty hard time convincing anyone that they're "self-made" even if they fought in battles.
redandblue101 6 Dec, 2024 @ 5:37am
This mod has some problems. Adventurer player heirs will get it when you play as them, and even NOBLE sons of mine got it when I died just because they were champions
Dnasis 21 Nov, 2024 @ 5:01pm
I was playing as an adventurer, and when he died and his daughter inherited the camp, she had the landed gentry trait. I assume it is because the camp is considered a duchy.
Doumie Huvää 21 Nov, 2024 @ 1:06am
I like this, but it feels a bit odd that all my male heirs inherit the trait. As a result, neighboring kings eventually end up as landed gentry since they became knights under their father’s rule.
YakaryBovine 13 Nov, 2024 @ 7:11pm
Hey, that's my reddit post!
This is awesome, well done.
