@Augustus This mod is virtually compatible with everything, check if the knight have the Veteran modifier. (They can't just be a knight, they need to have fought at least a battle as well.)
Please find here it french localisation : https://pastebin.com/Pkvb11J5
It can be simply done by few lines with customizable_localization.
If mod developer need such a feature, I can write the code for this
-Knights (that are not your sons) that participates in battles will now get the "Veteran" modifier. Should make it easier to distinguish between veterans and non-veterans.
-I machine translated German and Russian descs for the modifier, but Chinese players should request an update from the sub-mod.
-And yes, this mod works fine with 1.5 and likely future updates as well, unless Paradox somehow fundamentally changes how combat or title works.
-Let me know if anything seems to be not working correctly.
Like, instead of "Count" or "Duke", they're "Sir/Dame" or "Huscarl/Shieldmaiden".
Yes to both.
@emerald10005 Nice
@emerald10005 Very cool! Please link it and I'll take a look.
It would be great if we as the knight (adventurer) could earn this trait and become a landed gentry, do you think this would be possible?
Maybe you should make the opinion a negative for courtly vassals (they don't like people beneath them being promoted) and a positive bonus for glory hound vassals.
Make sense flavor wise as well, since the heir would have a pretty hard time convincing anyone that they're "self-made" even if they fought in battles.
This is awesome, well done.
