Such a god of a mod, I love the game but its a shame that since stalingrad 42 there really wasnt any dlcs like this. This introduces so many interesting scenarios, units, attachments, objectives its such a well made mod. I also love the axis tanks on the battle for france.

why does every german panzer division has a pz2 luchs? only 100 are built. they should use sdkfz
Selenika  [author] 20 Feb @ 7:50pm
Thank you all for the feedback!

Sacking your panzer divisions isn't exactly intended and may make later scenarios more difficult, but hey, whatever works.

This campaign is very fun and quite challenging for players like me who always play campaigns on hard difficulty. Crisis in the East was very difficult without losing too many armor. Crisis in the West was much easier than I thought, you just have to be super aggressive and don't be scared to let panzer divisions get destroyed if it means routing their supply lines. Took all the beaches on 5th turn.

I really enjoyed this, thank yuo fro making it!
I would say this campaign is better than many DLCs, at least mroe fun

amazing work

THAT BAGRATION LEVEL LITTERLY ALMOST MADE ME BREAK MY PC!!!!
wtf man that level is litterly impossible you never get anything COMING EVEN CLOSE to holding your objectives, and the soviets have INFINITE units!!
im so mad i think im going to bang my head againts the fucking wall!
Selenika  [author] 29 Dec, 2024 @ 8:16am
You will need to use a lot of rearguard and counterattack in this campaign. Screening the front line with ZOC rather than keeping units on the front line will also help keep units from getting mauled in open terrain.
InsaneWorld 28 Dec, 2024 @ 6:34pm
Alright, I've tried a couple times so far and haven't been able to meet the objectives of preserving troops but I'll give it another go with that in mind and I guess just be as careful as possible. And yeah I was hoping to take the beaches lol
Selenika  [author] 28 Dec, 2024 @ 11:33am
I'm not sure what's going on with the conference crashes, as I've been able to get through them without issue. Maybe a missing DLC or bad download? Likewise with the supply layout of Crisis in the West, I'm not seeing any supply hubs outside the map when I open either variant in the current version.

Regarding the Crisis in the West variants, if you fail to achieve all three bonus objectives in Crisis in the East (Balta, Armor, Infantry), you will get the default variant with historical units. If all three objectives are achieved, you will get the no_transfer variant with additional units, most notably the II SS Panzerkorps. It shouldn't be too difficult to defend the primary objectives, but it's intended to be relatively difficult/risky to take the beaches, as that's what puts you on the ahistorical tracks.

It should be noted that this campaign is not intended for non-classic difficulties, as the defensive scenarios get weird with the extended duration on lower difficulties.
InsaneWorld 26 Dec, 2024 @ 8:42pm
If you fail to preserve infantry and armor in the first mission, does that actually remove units from France in the next? While admittedly not the greatest player I'm finding Crisis in the West to be close to impossible with the disparity between me and the Allies, and the units I do have mostly just melt to them even in favorable conditions.
Meh! 25 Dec, 2024 @ 4:05am
Update to my previous post. Although I started a new campaign a few days ago I seem still have played an older version (subscribed when it became available). unsubscribing and subscribing gave me a new version where the supply hub by Cherbourg is outside the map in "Crisis in the west" which was not the case when I played the campaign.
Fougabadou 23 Dec, 2024 @ 10:15am
Hi, the game crash on the first conference...
Meh! 21 Dec, 2024 @ 10:47am
Great campaign so far but I got a crash when starting historical conference 3.
Selenika  [author] 14 Dec, 2024 @ 7:33am
Thank you!
ddd23 14 Dec, 2024 @ 5:29am
Superb campaing! My sincere appreciation to the creator!
Selenika  [author] 11 Dec, 2024 @ 6:47pm
Thanks! Adding all those specialists for fun/flavor/immersion was one of the more serious reasons for making this, especially protoypes and other tech that didn't end up seeing much use historically. The Maus may or may not appear at the end of the campaign if I ever get there.
DarkLight 8 Dec, 2024 @ 1:51am
The new specialist steps are very fun to mess around with, maybe we can see ze maus tank in the future lol
Selenika  [author] 7 Dec, 2024 @ 8:23pm
That crash has been fixed now - the zero values were causing crashes whenever you try to toggle extra movement with a unit with zero xmove as well as sometimes with combat calculations (I think, less sure about this one). Funnily enough, I only found that bug myself like a week ago, as the fortress units aren't intended to be moved or used for combat, so I never really triggered those crash conditions.

This update also includes a new scenario, because I happened to have one finished. Hopefully this is the end of major issues for this release.
zivziv100000 5 Dec, 2024 @ 5:01pm
hey there, i have been facing a very annoying bug wich started from the second level, in wich the game randomly crashes (with an eror messege offcourse). i found out that the reason might be the weak german infantry, as when im clicking him it almost aklways crashes.
other than that, the mode is AWOSOME!!! its a very fun and enjoyeable addition, almost a DLC-grade addition.
i would pay for that content willingly.
but pls fix those bugs! it is very annoying...
Selenika  [author] 29 Nov, 2024 @ 10:24pm
Thanks for the feedback! The third conference historical track crash should be fixed now.
Freelance-_- 29 Nov, 2024 @ 1:41am
Hello Selenika,

Awesome campaign!!

Crisis east was so fun, big defensive battles like the stalingrad campaign are my favorite :)

Crisis in the west far easier imo once you stabilise cherbourg.

Bagration made me cry, seeing all those brave men died because of Hitler's idiotic decisions wasting those aryans lives (steps) lol. Truly made me feel as helpless as a duck. Awesome scenario !!!

Doppelkopf was too easy once u cut the Russian supply lines in the south east on turn 2.

Just started the campaign yesterday, and I kept crashing after Doppelkopf when I click next conference.

A fix would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
Selenika  [author] 27 Nov, 2024 @ 6:34pm
Is the campaign save from before or after the Nov 22 update?
karis 26 Nov, 2024 @ 8:16am
I have the same issue crashes after Ausladung
Selenika  [author] 20 Nov, 2024 @ 6:21pm
That's weird, if it downloaded correctly it should show up under New Campaign > Götterdämerung 44 (3353771776). I don't know why it wouldn't be there if you can see it in the scenario editor.
1131825634 19 Nov, 2024 @ 6:45pm
I have purchased all the dlc, why can't I find the mod in the game after I subscribe, only the scene editor shows it
19 Nov, 2024 @ 5:32am
很不错的战役,希望被官方收入
Selenika  [author] 11 Nov, 2024 @ 6:41pm
Thank you!
DarkLight 10 Nov, 2024 @ 12:13am
Extremely impressive campaign, very fun to play, could perfectly pass as an official DLC for the game.

Eagerly awaiting more scenarios, if you do end up making more.
Selenika  [author] 5 Nov, 2024 @ 1:43pm
No, I named this campaign a year ago when I started putting it together, and the term götterdämmerung isn't that uncommon regarding the end of WW2 for Germany. As for where I first saw it, it was this community scenario for UoC1:
https://unityofcommand.net/cs/view.php?sid=203

As for the conference crash, thanks, I'll look into it, though it may be more practical to just play the last scenario directly rather than replay the campaign afterwards, as that's where the campaign so far ends.
TURREL 5 Nov, 2024 @ 10:57am
Is this hoi 4 reference?! :KaneLives:
The S.hitpost King 31 Oct, 2024 @ 8:37pm
Now alternate conference 2 crashes the game, the one after Ausladung and Margarethe II
Libik 30 Oct, 2024 @ 11:16am
Thank you, a bit annoying it has to be restarted but good to know.
Selenika  [author] 29 Oct, 2024 @ 5:08pm
Unfortunately, yes, it has to be restarted, as save files seem to snapshot the state of the game files when they are created, and campaigns/scenarios are played off of the individual save files. This is true for any campaign/scenario, as far as I know.
Libik 29 Oct, 2024 @ 1:52pm
Does the campaign have to be restarted for the fix to work ? Because I just tried it now and its still the same issue, tried both save right before moving to the conference and one mid mission.
Selenika  [author] 29 Oct, 2024 @ 9:08am
Oh I see, that's actually the third conference, coding-wise (the starting conference is the first). I believe that should be fixed now, as well as a few random broken names. Yes, scenario mods should not have any affect, which is why I was confused.
Libik 29 Oct, 2024 @ 2:27am
Awesome campaign so far, though I too always crash when trying to start 2nd conference (the one after [3rd Bialystok, Ostland]), I do have a lot of scenario mods and so on but I dont think those should affect it
Selenika  [author] 27 Oct, 2024 @ 6:23pm
Hmm. I just tested and was able to get past the second conference just fine, so I'd guess it's the other mod.
The S.hitpost King 27 Oct, 2024 @ 5:24pm
Must be an external issue, as I cannot reset to the start of a conference either.
The S.hitpost King 27 Oct, 2024 @ 10:13am
Crashes once I try to leave the 2nd conference, may have been me running another mod alongside this campaign, very good so far but those loss restrictions on Crisis in the east are brutal.
