Report a translation problem
Head to "SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\3352461867\common\on_action"
You'll edit these two files:
mpf_title_on_actions.txt
mpc_title_on_actions.txt
They all have similiar lines.
1) REMOVE THESE LINES IN BOTH FILES
on_vassal_change = {
on_actions = {
feudal_domicile_gain
}
}
2) MODIFY THIS LINE IN BOTH FILES
"on_title_gain" -> "on_game_start"
You will need a new savefile for it but works fine after you gain a title. I'm not sure about losing titles. It can be further fixed by simple lines of code if there's any problem occurs after losing title or playing as other government types
TO REMOVE ESTATE STUFF ALTOGETHER:
1) Head to "SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\3352461867\common"
1.1) Remove these folders:
"domiciles"
1.2) Head to on_actions -> remove both "mpf_title_on_actions.txt" and "mpc_title_on_actions.txt"
can we get a submod to remove the mechanic or a fix?
@blobii:
no
@blazeknave
@KylerKhan
thx for rising up this issue, i uploaded a hotfix that should resolve it
@rustoutlaw: i will take a look but i have never seen this happen in tests. The mod shouldnt touch anything about adventurers
-hotfix
-ck3 version update
-added estate domiciles to feudals and clans
@jllusion: no would need a big compatch, sry
@gef: @deluviansenecca: should be fixed
-ck3 version update
-feudal, clan and tribal can recruit maas from subjects.
-allowed non nomadics to demand tribute
-title revokation is less common if both parties belong to the same house, is non feudal
-ai is less convinced to grant or revoke a vassal that has a special contract with the liege
-march special contract gives bonus fort level
-all special contracts can be given regardless of vassal rank
-added special contract flavorization, ie french castellan are viscounts, scutage vassal is a constable, march vassal is a marquis, slav castellan is a voivoide, turkic march is a banate etc
-granting a title to someone gives you a hook, or loyalty if they have a loyalty cultural tradition
-tribals can reach the early mediaval era innovations
-can call to war vassals and liege, easier if vassals and liege are allied or if they have a special contract
-naval admin theme can raid overseas, actual navy gameplay
-can nominate family, consort or your heir (even if illegal gendered ie female in male pref law realm) as co-monarch or co-emperor
-harder for nomads to vassalize non-nomads, especially tribals
@CBT
I advice you to also block it for AI completely if they ruled for less than a couple of years. It's really dumb when AI instarevokes titles and looses in 0 seconds when you land them/they get landed through succession.
