Feudal Govs are obviously already playable but they are super bare tbh and not really well simulating feudalism anyway. Inspired by Marches & Palatines, Imperial Immediacy, Warden Vassal Contract, Historical Marches, VASSAL CONTRACTS +, All can recruit MaA from subjects, Cities of Kings. FEATURES
    FEUDALISM
  • Can recruit regional MAAs from their subjects.
  • Can own city holdings. Early medieval mayors were rare.
  • RENAMED Feudal successions laws for realism. Return of Agnatic Gavelkind.
  • East slav heritage get access to seniority succession early. Per historical ladder sucession.
  • ADDED Slavic Veche Elective Succession Law. Tribal-feudal election for Slavs.
  • ADDED Outremer Elective Succession Law. Equalitarian feudal election for Jerusalem.
  • ADDED a custom DLC Clan Govs House relation mechanic.
  • Feudal house heads access the estate domicile, like admins.

    COMPLEX ALLIANCES
  • Alliance creation through marriage down to the 4th removed/generation (grandkids or cousins), instead of the 4th.
  • Vassals can decalre war against target whom was already at war with your liege. I suppose this rule wars to avoid dogpilling, but thats definitely ahistorical.
  • AI is slightly less interested in joning an ally's wars, opinion is much more important.
  • Allied lieges and vassals can call and join eachother's wars. Without an alliance they can still join but with a massive malus.

    CONTRACT OBLIGATIONS
  • LOWERED AI title revocation factors, if there is a contract, if they share house, if they are non feudal, if they held their primary title for less than 1 year. No more instant civil wars on game start.
  • ADDED immediacy, vassals with special contracts are considered immediates - whom you have a special relationship. AI wont give out immediates and will prefer to help them. AI wont accept vassal retraction if they have contracts and special contracts with the target vassal. And cannot give out special contract vassals to another vassal.
  • ADDED Sovereignty, vassals that have special jurisdiction on their own lands bestowed by the ruler. Most special contracts give sovereignty. Considered immediate vassals AND it is defacto an alliance with the liege. You can call and join your sovereign vassals in war. Can call and join each other's wars.
  • March contract gives bonus fort levels now.

    LETTER OF MARQUE
  • ADDED a pirate special contract for counts and republics, they can raid overseas.
  • Naval Admin Theme can raid overseas.

    CLANNISM
  • Can recruit regional MAAs from their subjects.
  • Can have vanilla vassal contracts.
  • Can own city and tribal holdings.
  • Can access single heir successions like feudals.
  • Can raid by default like tribals.
  • Clan house heads access the estate domicile, like admins.

    TRIBALISM
  • Can recruit regional MAAs from their subjects.
  • Can have vanilla vassal contracts.
  • BLOCKED from losing tribal gov if giving a non-tribal holding to an heir.
  • Can hold city holdings.
  • Can access high partition and single heir succession laws like feudals.
  • Diplomatic range lowered by -25% and plague resistance raised by +10 points.
  • Can get access to early medieval era innovations.

    MORE FEUDS
  • Can hold a max of 4 duchies before receiving penalties. Vassal opinion still effect.
  • Non-nomads can demand neighbors to become tributaries, easier than vassalization.
  • Barons can join factions and can refuse revocations.
  • RAISED Capital Occupation during Wars from 50% to 80% war score, mainly for Barons.
  • Lowborn rulers (AI mostly) get a decision to buy a nobility title (Dynasty), thus become playable.

COMPATIBLE with EVERYTHING. NO vanilla files replaced. Load AFTER large mods in playlists, may break mod features. Try Less Wanderers so kids dont travel to mongolia randomly, Less Generated Courtiers no billion RNG NPCs anymore.

Found a fix for domicile estate problems:

Head to "SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\3352461867\common\on_action"

You'll edit these two files:

mpf_title_on_actions.txt
mpc_title_on_actions.txt


They all have similiar lines.

1) REMOVE THESE LINES IN BOTH FILES

on_vassal_change = {
on_actions = {
feudal_domicile_gain
}
}

2) MODIFY THIS LINE IN BOTH FILES
"on_title_gain" -> "on_game_start"

You will need a new savefile for it but works fine after you gain a title. I'm not sure about losing titles. It can be further fixed by simple lines of code if there's any problem occurs after losing title or playing as other government types


TO REMOVE ESTATE STUFF ALTOGETHER:


1) Head to "SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\3352461867\common"

1.1) Remove these folders:
"domiciles"
1.2) Head to on_actions -> remove both "mpf_title_on_actions.txt" and "mpc_title_on_actions.txt"

ive mostly ceased playing ck3 and probably wont update or continue modding for ck3

for real, the estate mechanic doesn't work with my playset, it disappears and only reappears if i increase my domain
can we get a submod to remove the mechanic or a fix?
