Might it be possible to adjust the mod so that it drops three times as many pixels as you currently have it programmed to do? Then it would be correct for survival mode, right?

starbound has no way to check a player's difficulty

OpenStarbound and StarExtensions add functions for that

without them it will assumes the player is on casual and drops the amount of pixels lost in casual mode (10%)

so if you're playing survival mode you will lose 30% of pixels but only drop 10%

Did some tests and let myself get killed. When I picked up the dropped pixels, I was still missing 20% of what I originally had.

it's not an osb bug it happens on the vanilla engine as well. and it's my fault <3

In OpenSB/Survival environment, only 8 pixels are dropped regardless of the number of pixels held.
