@mgunh1 can you describe or perhaps find me in the cosmoteer discord and DM me the crash messages? I have tested the mod on the latest version and had no issues. I even booted up a creative game and started blasting at some armor in case there was some freak error but nothing unexpected happened. https://i.imgur.com/JSa5pn3.png

This appears to be causing an error with the vector shaders in 30.1b, causing a start up crash.

thanks god for his mod i have enter'ed late game i well need this thanks the author so much as all the other mods go the easy way just making ships drop less or not at all but this is both reduces my lag and douse not lower my game play THANK YOU SO MUCH

Yeah, so when a crewman picks up ammo or missiles, you might not want him picking up the entire 10 rounds at once. I tested it within my community and it was quite noticeable how much it buffed missiles and cannons. idk i kind of liked it

For your first question, A single communist, ship carrying is as normal last I checked. However if crew is taking resources from space, through the airlock, then into storage (such as for hyperdrives), the crew will take as much as they can carry in space rather than in the ship

1. Does this change the amount of resources a crew member can carry inside of a ship?
2. Why such a small selection of resources?

@Azath, after launching the game again, you need to manually enable the mod in the Mods section then restart the game

If you are worried about balance, maybe have two versions of the mod?
One that affects "cheaty" resources like ammo, and one that is less cheaty?

@Crimson Alpha: Yeah there will be, but it can be added in fine. Any newly dropped resources will be in larger nugget form :)

Are there any issues with loading this mod into an old save? I am assuming that there will already be normal resource chunks littered about.

Update 1.1.0 pushed:
Should fix incompatibilities with resource storage mods that change NuggetSprites.
Balance pass; Ammo and Missile parts are no longer affected by the mod.

I may, later, reintroduce ammo and missile parts in a limited capacity.

My worry is Nukes, really. Nukes and Missiles can be rapidly loaded and it could make the game a lot harder.

It might give projectiles that require actual resources to fire a bit of a selling point over energy pew pews that do not.

Fellas we also have an issue where crew can now load weapons like launchers and deck cannons way faster. A problem? perhaps.

@ikromo28 Unless you manually open the mod and change the values yourself it's not really possible with Cosmoteer's limited modding capabilities to make adjustable options.

@ShadowDragon8685 I'm still unsure why it would cause crashes or incompatibilities. I guess that's just down to cosmoteer. The mod is set up to only affect specifically the max nugget size and nugget graphics, by replacing whatever was there first. It's bizarre that there would be an error. I'll do some testing at some point!

@Tanksy: That other mod seems to have changed 'nuggets' somehow to account for its graphics of materials stacking in large shipping crates. Between the two, I was forced to prefer that one, simply to not be flying back to space stations every fifteen seconds.

That's weird, I guess that mod has also done changes to nuggets? I'm not sure how else it could conflict, I haven't touched stack sizes in storage at all - though it's something I could consider, if it's taken advantage of by the AI ships too.
Thanks for making me aware, though! I might download it and see where the conflict lies, if there's something I can do about it. It might even be as simple as load order, but idk. I might not be able to do sh:missing:t

Cosmoteer did indeed launch with this mod active after I deactivated Special Optimal Storage, so I must conclude it was in fact a mod conflict. Between the two, I think I'll go with this one for the time being.

This looked so very promising, but I just crashed when trying to load, and the crash points at this mod. I suspect it's a conflict with Nighthawk's Night Rod Special Optimal Storage however.
