Hey thanks for a fun mod, sorry you got tired of playing whack a mole, maybe b4 you go just throw the fact that it requires all the expansions to run into the main description, I checked there first and didn't see anything that precluded me from using it with just the base game. Cheers.

Im not checking in here anymore. The most common problem with the mod is missing assets from not having one of the expansions. There are solutions for how to change the graphic in these comments.

Do you have all the expansions?
If not the game crashes on certain graphics.

If you do and its got issues there's a file called gamelog.txt that can tell me what is going wrong and I can try to fix it.

Sadly, after about 200 turns {roughly) the game crashes with this mod. I have uninstalled and it works fine, but as much as i LOVE this mod, it breaks. =(

"Okay. Theres a missing art asset.
In the file DB_SUBRACE_APOTH in the mod find UNIT-SOR_DREAM_WEAVER
Replace the line: Graphic="GiantSpiderDung"
With Graphic="GiantSpider"

And that will fix the issue."

Great job here, love it, but I can't progress because the dream weavers seem to be breaking my saves. Every time I enter combat with weavers I get error msg and "future saves disabled". The game eventually freezes during a weaver combat turn and I have to ctr-alt-del out of the application. There is missing art for the weavers, they just have a blank white circle for a praphic, same with the gnoll guy I am playing, Power to the people retort is a blank white circle as well.

Sent f8 save to you.

Apotheosis contains Mythic-Realms and Animus.
The last file loaded take priority.

I have a question on load order. I don't have all the spells you have in your picture. I had Roc nest in halflings then it vanished. I am loading Apotheosis, Animus, My custom wizard, Mythical Realms, More staring options 2 in that order. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

A work around would be putting an iron man journal at the back of the manual. Where players can input their score, and give themselves an extra challenge. You could put down point threshold for earning medals, and you can add restrictions to add bonus points. This can all be done using a journal format.

I cant do anything about deleting the save files (I love the suggestion) as for the AI it breaks down over time and cant access most of the top tier spells. You can just play defensive and over time it will fall apart and eventually just sort of quit.

Just a suggestion but will you add something like a guide on how exploit the AI, and add a one save file mode that automatically deletes when the player looses.

Hi, I'm enjoying this quite a bit, thank you! I do have a feature request: could it be possible to start with a hero other than B'Shan? I found a mod that does that but I can't get it to take effect when also running Apotheosis.

I can confirm one of the AI had Hivemind.
I loaded from turn 9 with the new patch, hit end turn and didn't get the error this time.

Theres a super weird rare error when the AI tries to summon one of the lords of bugtown.
I will attempt to fix it.

You would need to roll the game back about 3 turns if the patch works.

I haven't found the others since only 10 turns passed.. I know one of them is Freya coz the log showed "Ai Freya finished casting of SPELL-SPRITES" before the error.

Is there a way to find out? Does this game have cheats to reveal the map or something? I'm a bit new to it.

I got this error on turn 10 :

Enjoying the game, and I hope to use the mod soon. I am rooting for your team as you all are making this game better and better, and if you can't improve the AI further than I hope you create systems that complement the Players interaction with the AI. Maybe you will find other solutions. I hope for your success in this project.

In the file DB_SUBRACE_APOTH_HEROES.xml in the mod change the Delmees "OptionalModel3dName VALUE="Billie"
To
"OptionalModel3dName VALUE="HalflingSlinger"

And that will fix a graphical crash

I will look into the slinger, but if you are missing DLC you are missing some graphical assets

Seelie units are power scaled by having one of the worst productions in the game. I tried to make it so that each fairy only appeared once.

I might add engineering to the catapults tho. Lemme think about it.

Could you possibly add a unit to the Seelie Courts? If so, Gnomish engineers. You have gnomish catapult unit already, so it wouldn't be a stretch for the engineers.

It assumes you have all of them. Theres a few potential repairs in here There are 5 units that have broken graphics that you can fix at home and that should make it work.

IF not send me the error message from gamelog.txt and I'll look into it.

hi all,
many thanks for taking the time to look into my comments. i am somewhat ignorant in regards to the AI limitations. And i do agree, each race/magic should have a distinct unique feel to it. Still playing and enjoying your mod. I might tamper with a few of my ideas, it is indeed quite easy to do.

I did look into everything you asked about avatar but have opted against more changes due to the AI being to broken to work with.

You can make the changes you want yourself for you tho. Its not terribly hard.

We should really stay away from all races having every kind of unit. It would totaly ruin their playstyle and feel.
