@Satan Graveyard sorry it's an issue on my end. I had already re-installed Stellaris before making that comment but it turns out some mods I already uninstalled were still being applied.

There's a mod called "OP capital systems in the wild" that does exactly that. I think you could take a look at it and even use the code.

@DanielAir, that was the initial idea, but I am still not quite sure how to do that. To be a bit more honest - I am actually being quite lazy. I'll try implementing that later.

@Nyx (She/Her) No, but all you need to do to make it compliant is replace all 'generate_empire_home_planet = yes' lines with
'generate_starting_pop_and_buildings = yes'

@Toast, it doesn't.

The only systems that add anything are Quintuple Star System (It has a custom icon) and Extrasolar System (Custom icon).

Other systems have their effects outlined in the effects tab.

Can you add a starting system with a size 70 or 75 starting system that just came out of a shroud storm? The idea behind it is that the species went through a massive shroud storm that changed there planet into a mega planet

I'll probably wait until they actually finish hotfixing the mess that is 4.0.

Also doesn't help that my current build has a few unfinished systems I either have to finish in time, or remove before updating the workshop mod.

This probably wouldn't work well with real space. From what I remember (haven't played with Real Space in years), Real Space changes vanilla mechanics in regards to systems and planets.

Firra looks cool but the other emebdded pictures don't show up for me, too.


The systems sound good enough for me to try blind anyway :) but it's not just Griff who can't see the embeds.

The top-area preview pictures work fine, it's just the embeds.

I am not sure if the randomly generated AI empires use these, as I do not know how they spawn.

That being said - primitive civilizations definitely do not use these. Vanilla Stellaris technically has 2 copies of every starting system - one for default empires, and one for pre-FTLs. My mod does not have pre-FTL versions of the systems.

Aw hell yes. I've been dying for a mod that adds variety to starting systems. Do randomly generated AI empires or primitive civilizations make use of these?

I'm really keen to use this. Hopefully some more people follow suit so we can provide you enough feedback to patch bugs and keep the mod updated.
