Description
Extra Starting Star Systems [Referred to as 'ESSS' in the future] is a mod that adds 9 starting star systems to the game.

ESSS supports English, Polish and Russian localisation.

ESSS adds following star systems:

Nemesis

A planetary system in the orbit of small black hole.

Pschy System

A solar system that was recently spat out of a massive psionic storm.

Apocalypse System

A solar system that once beheld a massive space battle the scars of which can still be seen today.

Shredded System

A solar system with a massive asteroid field formed from the debris of multiple cracked worlds.

Quintuple Star System

A five-star home system.

Guaranteed Worlds System

Guaranteed Worlds moved to your home system for convenience.

Exoplanet Unary

Guaranteed Worlds are replaced with terraforming candidates within your home system. You get 2 terraforming candidates per each guaranteed world.

Massive Planet Unary

Your homeworld is a whopping 50-size planet. Guaranteed worlds will not spawn.

Extrasolar System

Your home system is starless. Instead, you find your planet orbiting a massive gas giant in interstellar space.

Firra System

A home system formed out of heavy, dense metals. This would come in useful in future expansion.

Afterword

These are star systems, not origins. Therefore, you can pick them with origins that do not replace your start system. It is possible, for example, to have a start on a size-50 Relic World if you were to pick Massive Planet Unary and Remnants origin.

Massive thanks to Discord user Ironwall for proofreading Polish translation of the mod.

Unintended Behaviour

Be aware that due to sheer amount of various origins, civics, ethics, species traits, etc. that Stellaris has, not every single combination of these has been tested. Expect unintended behaviour. Especially with the Massive Planet start.

@Satan Graveyard sorry it's an issue on my end. I had already re-installed Stellaris before making that comment but it turns out some mods I already uninstalled were still being applied.

@JP

No, I've just tested and there's no such issue on my end. Any other mods you're using/

Anyone else having an issue with nemesis not showing a black hole?

Will this be updated for 4.1?

There's a mod called "OP capital systems in the wild" that does exactly that. I think you could take a look at it and even use the code.

@DanielAir, that was the initial idea, but I am still not quite sure how to do that. To be a bit more honest - I am actually being quite lazy. I'll try implementing that later.

any chance of a version that adds a chance of these systems spawning in the wild during galaxy generation?

sick, thank you

@Nyx (She/Her) No, but all you need to do to make it compliant is replace all 'generate_empire_home_planet = yes' lines with
'generate_starting_pop_and_buildings = yes'

is this mod still compatible with 3.14?
