i totally see what you're trying to do. Although, instead of replicating old school circling effects, i more support the idea of building upon that foundation/initial concept of the original circling effects. it'll just make it a tad more interesting than just simply replicating the idea. and of course, that doesn't have to make it super bloated or anything. i wish i could tell you what to add but my head is empty atm lol

I would buy this effect if it gets released, it’s so simple yet charming. We need less flashy purple effects

There are some circling effects in the game but not this, no.

Hey boys! Thanks for the feedback, to answer your question of why, the whole point of this concept was to make something very akin to the old school circling effects, that isn't incredibly bloated with too many things going on, we purposefully went with something far simpler for that reason, something nice, and not complicated, and fyi, atomic/subatomic weren't taken as a reference, (i frankly didn't even think of them when i made the concept) rather it was all the signs around the maps, cosmetics, themes of the game etc. I find too many unusuals just have too much going on at times, and so thought it would be best to just take it back a notch.

a atom that is in the center of the head would be a better concept imo. electrons would be present and they would spin and the trail they leave behind would create the rings of the atom.

This concept is just very "Why?".
I don't see what this has over atomic/subatomic's concept, which actually does the atom concept infinitely better than just an orbiting representation of one.

Jimmy Neutron unusual.

It spins fast when it first emits and then slows down. The concept artist wanted it to spin subtly. Still, this would be a simple change.

My only critique is make the atom spin a little bit faster, other than that, great effect
