have worked for me previously and quite good at that.
I tried rise of the republic and could ony field 2 armies, but could field 3 without the mod, it seems it locked my imperium level to 1

First things first, I love the concept behind this mod, as Rome historically had around 30 legions at the height of its power. Personally, armies and fleets should be limited only by upkeep (which makes trade more essential--though a mod for increased profits also helps) and not by a hard cap the vanilla game does.

That being said, have you thought of increasing the spawn rate of statesmen (at least 2 per turn) to keep up with the armies that are raised? Also, if anyone can recommend another mod (besides Dresden's Historical Family System mods) that increases the chances of spawning a statesman from your political faction, that would be great. (Since bribing a stateman from a rival political faction is much harder in patch 18.)

@Platvia12 What you do in that situation is get generals with night attack abilities and use them to pick off the enemy armies one by one

Yeah but athens has like more than 15 armies now, all 15+ units and they are still recruiting more armies. It would become impossible to beat them. Too bad I guess.

It was up to date, and working, but I've updated it anyway.

@Platvia12 Yes I believe it does, as there is no way to set them seperately. I haven't played in some time, though I don't recall the AI spamming small(?) armies, most had 15+ units in them if they weren't still recruiting.

does this mod stop civil wars from happening? The civil war bar doesnt even fill up and my party was at 100% senators. It might be another mod but it would make sense if it was this one.

This mod edits "agents_tables", "cai_personalities_budget_allocations", and "fame_levels_tables" though if another mod edits any of this I think it would just merely overwrite changes rather than crash. Are you sure you aren't hitting the cap to the number of mods you can have active? Have you tried disabling 1 single other mod?

its not compatible with one of my mods for some reason, i dont know which one because i have about 50 mods active which i deemed essential, it loads the open screen fine but then the game crashes. its definatley this mod because it works fine without it. wonder which one it is.

@barsmars What Imperium level are you at? In vanilla you can only recruit one agent of each type as well, until you reach Imperium III.

Thanks this really helps yours is kind of a all in one mod. One thing though it caps my own agent recruiting at 1 agent only. Honestly this isn't a big deal as I don't really use them for anything but military training and tax bonuses anyhow. I wouldn't guess that this is due to another mod conflicting since my other mods don't affect this aspect, is anyone else having this as well?

hello, your MOD works just for the campaign IMPERATOR AUGUSTUS and HANNIBAL THE GATES.
It does not work for the BIG CAMPAIGN campaign and also the campaign CESAR IN GAULLE

@hudgal You don't need to start a new campaign, as for Mac compatibility I honestly don't know as I use Windows. Do mods even work with Mac at all?

@ronymorango I'm not sure I can help you there, so far I've only made minor changes to things like these, and tried my hand at editing some existing units, create some new ones, most of which for personal use.

In fact I believe a mod which removes Forced March has already been made by quite a few people. A quick google search found me this: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=215698876

I don't use this personally, so can't guarantee it still works etc. Hope I helped though!

that just removes 'Forced March' both at land and sea for all factions? Agents and 'Forced
March' the two most hated features in the vanilla game for me. I simply cannot play the game
without removing 'agents' and 'forced march' first. Awaitng your reply, Thanks man
