It did mention in the patch notes it will break some mods, but yeah it wont load due to:
MissingMethodException: Method not found: void RogueGenesia.Data.Statistic.AddPostUpdateStat(single)
From what I can see it needs to be re-compiled with the new dll's for the change from float to double
Can confirm it works after just re-compiling with the new dll's so it uses double instead of float.

After update Update 1.0.3 it looks like it does not work. level/maps will not load for me.

I've recompiled the mod with the latest .dlls. I can repost it so people can use (and then take it down when you update) it or provide it to you, let me know.

For now I'm priorising stabilizing 1.0 and improve minor thing, mod update will come in a few weeks

This really should be a setting in-game. That along with a toggle for the whole region locking certain soulcards thing. Currently playing the Summoner, and I needed a soulcard for an evolution, but oops, the game never gave me one.

I wish this was an option in game. I only just found the game and only experienced how it is now. But if they wanted to change the default behavior, do that. But give us a option to change it if we want.
