Ooh, if you decide to publish a mod with your custom ores, I'd be happy to add support for it! ^^

Cool mod, I'm adding it to my modpacks forever! I'm sick of the boring worldgen. Also.. I could be wrong but I think that's my glowing ore mod in your screenshots and honestly it made me grin so wide to see it :luv:

very minor mod, however, the terrain being more diverse makes vanilla biomes much better to explore and its much more immersive, incredible how small details can make things much more interesting, i recommend using it with the more sensible secondary biome destribution mod for even better terrain immersion

im gonna use this, hopefully its compatible with the other mods i have

Some terrain may not blend "as good" as the others, but yeah - mod works perfectly.

On the 4th screenshot I'm pretty sure those spikes coming out of the ground are something you'd only normaly see in dark biomes, and that's a forest, so the changes are there.
Ewok116 17 Aug, 2024 @ 10:12am
looks pretty vanilla from the screenshots

the game wont generate the planet when i try to add the biomes for the diverse planet saying that they cant be found, so this may take a while

Thanks! :)

i do like that idea, will see what i can do

Good evening!

This mod looks really cool. However, I wouldn't want to have the generation of the vanilla planets changed on my server. Despite that, I am interested in the diverse terrain. So here is an idea/suggestion:

An alternate version of this mod that adds a new planet type called "Diverse". Said planet type would be the only one with this new type of terrain generation and it could have (almost) any vanilla biome, maybe even random weathers.

unless you get the flat surface terrain, then it will be extra flat, like the zoomed out screenshot
Lukiwarble  [author] 15 Aug, 2024 @ 7:14am
something like that, yeah
COVID-19 15 Aug, 2024 @ 6:29am
So from my understanding this mod just makes worlds less flat - basically?
tigerfestival1988 14 Aug, 2024 @ 3:59pm
Subbed! Looking forward to playing this mod once I'm off my Starbound hiatus.
Lukiwarble  [author] 14 Aug, 2024 @ 12:18pm
i unfortunately don't have that knowlegde, yet
Lukiwarble  [author] 14 Aug, 2024 @ 12:14pm
most of those no since it wouldn't align with the next layer terrain generation, but you can make custom terrains if you have knowledge in how to make .terrain files

Is it possible to somehow add new types of landscapes? For example, giant thin peaks that reach up to space, or fissures in the earth that reach down to the core. Pitted by explosions for mining on the surface. Fluid-filled hills and huge mountains. And something else, equally crazy.
Lukiwarble  [author] 13 Aug, 2024 @ 2:52pm
its replacing main terrains and adding secondary terrains by using patches, so it shouldn't have any conflicts, at most a biome or 2 will be normal if its replaced by another mod
TarXor 13 Aug, 2024 @ 10:49am
How compatible is this? Did you use the patch or file replacement method?
Lukiwarble  [author] 13 Aug, 2024 @ 6:33am
you know what, every biome i look, the most noticiable change is random mountains comming up, so i'm gonna step it up a notch
Lukiwarble  [author] 13 Aug, 2024 @ 6:16am
i'm working on it
ABlueHairedFox 12 Aug, 2024 @ 11:39pm
Think we can get more pictures as to what this mod does?
