its a known issue with custom rarity black silence cards, i'll try to add a config that will get summons to just play the full page instead

i think the summons broke the card themselves. Atelier Logic is stuck to only one die (the shotgun one mostly, sometimes 2 dies for the revolver). Ranga is also stuck on one die (dagger). I feel like somehow the unique cards for the summons are actively changing the actual cards in the deck. Other than that its pretty good. I like the new mass attacks roland gets.

maybe i'll add a config for dagger and shotgun summons to play the full Ranga and Logic pages without removed dice
its less accurate to what i wanted, but its p much the only way to not break combat pages this way

like i said, can't think of a workaround
it needs to count toward furioso, have a way to remove dice, and be compatible with other mods as long as they retain the vanilla page ids

summons use a copy of a card's xml to prevent it affecting the original pages
if something about custom card rarity breaks copying then i can't think of a workaround

Ok so after some testing I have found out that it IS the Rarity that fucks up the cards, maybe try to add compatability with that? and I've found that the mod that wasnt letting me use Roland on the Black Silence Reception was 'binah and roland keypage lock removal'

its likely the custom rarity causing this
the summons add pages to combat queue through Roland's card xml
i don't know how exactly custom rarity interacts with card xml, but it causes issues like this

I was playing this mod in particular "[The Purple Tear]星三加强计划1:堇紫泪滴2.0", which gives a bunch of buff to all librarian such as page draw and light, I was only using passives from rolands page and dimensional weapon storage, In this video you can see it at the 4:52 mark

Idk if it's intended but somehow Roland's cards got reduced to the cards used by the weapons from dark days,(E.G ranga and altra logic having one die)

he should be, he's only locked if its the first time playing Black Silence Reception (story)
if its specifically in that scenario, maybe disable this mod or configure MoTCReceptionEdits false and KeterOpen true

its all loose ideas for now, vanilla alr has memory cards but i'll need to come up with MoTC's version + Argalia's for distorted reverb act 4

I think what he meant by that is cuz all the memory cards pertain to a certain character: Iori, Salvador, Yun, and I think he might make each memory card give you an entire deck based on that character?

Ooooo, sounds like the final fight in the ayin realization which sorta does the same thing. Could that perhaps be your inspiration? Also would this be added to the regular ego pool like the rest or would it be done like the orlando ego mod which adds the ego card at emotion level 5?

y'know how synchronization ego pages (magic bullet, red riding hood) change the librarian's deck? something like that but with roland's memory cards

An addition to what OverOmni said, it is a problem with the LockAssistants patch, where for the Black Silence fight specifically, you lock patrons for all floors, not just Keter, which is what I assume you wanted.

there appears to be something with either this mod in general or a contradiction that this mod has with another one that makes it so you cant use any of the patron librarians and only the assistants on the black silence fight, and also makes it so keter is unlocked but not roland??

Overall its a pretty easy to fix conflict by simply removing the passive and starting any reception like you mentioned already

And I have now found out that after running roland on the ayin floor, it bugs keypages equipped to roland by locking them onto him

So it basically, if the dimension weapon storage passive is on roland and you try to switch to the Ayin floor, you basically get all of the ayin floor abno pages with roland as the patron librarian, which I find both cool and funny

I did a quick test to see if the weapon storage passive would conflict with the Ayin Realization and it doesn't really affect the ayin abnormality/ego pages. But it does seem to mess with the appearance projection and equipping of the Ayin keypage (By that I mean that the keypage is equipped but roland still remains as the patron librarian)

Have you tested if ego from mods like the Ayin Realization conflict with the ego locking? Granted I don't know how you would exactly unless you also have cheaters toolkit installed to have the black silence page.

ego can be turned off to prevent conflicts in general
mod ego now sets itself to current floor and takes the rest of current floor's ego pages and locks them
start of battle will unlock all vanilla egos (since receptions can be exited via completion or via main menu)
there might be conflict in which other mod's ego get locked and cannot be unlocked after

They might have the same issue as me where the one black silence card color change mod messed with the weapon summoning taking dice from the base cards.
And may I ask if the ego configs are due to possible conflicts with the Ayin Realization?

The only time the additional dice "affects" Roland's pages would be Durandal from what I've seen

This is because the 'Last die gains +1 power' effect from the first two dice of Durandal would go to the last die (which would be the additional die) instead of the the 2x power die

I'm not sure how, but both Atelier Logic and Ranga Workshop only have 1 dice
