Just to make sure I understand: in the Jewelry mod, accessories like earrings can be equipped but are not displayed visually, and you are suggesting a patch that would allow them to use my textures, correct?
My mod is based on the concept of “adding decorative items that have the same stats as vanilla but can be enjoyed visually.”
If I step into extending the mechanics of other mods, I feel it might blur the original direction of my work.
If I ever consider this kind of support, it would likely be as a small, separate patch mod rather than part of the main one.
Still, I really appreciate your idea, and it makes me happy to know you’d like to see more possibilities for the accessories!
Could there be a patch to make that mod’s accessories visible on pawns using your textures?
That would be amazing!
Thanks to your comment, I discovered the amazing "Layers: Capes and Armor" mod and even learned a thing or two.
Transmog is such a handy tool—I’m a big fan of it myself!
Wishing you lots of fun with your character customization!
I appreciate you taking a look though
It seems that the author manually creates individual patches for each item to make them compatible (such impressive attention to detail!).
At the moment, my mod doesn’t appear to be included in that list, so if it is ever added, it would likely come through an update from that mod’s author.
Thank you very much for your question!
I'll take some time this weekend to check how it works with the Capes and Armor Mod.
I really appreciate your patience until then!
I've tested it and everything looked fine, but if you run into any visual issues, feel free to let me know—I'd be happy to look into it.
I totally understand—it can be a bit of a hassle to craft custom equipment, especially when you're managing a busy colony.
The reason I chose to separate the hairstyles and accessories was to give players more freedom to mix and match.
But I do see the appeal of having them as one simple hairstyle too!
That said, I might consider adding some accessory-attached hairstyles to my Ponpeco Hair mod in the future!
If that sounds interesting to you, feel free to check it out:

I'll keep this kind of feedback in mind for future updates. Thanks again!
Thanks so much for pointing that out! I'm going to patch it up ASAP.
I really appreciate your sharp eye — I wouldn't have caught it without your report!
I’ve made some changes to the layering, so accessories like the flower pin should no longer get hidden behind the ears.
As for hats, I wasn’t entirely sure whether they should appear above or below the ears, so for now I’ve kept the layering the same.
There’s still room for improvement, so if you spot anything else or have more suggestions, feel free to let me know.
Thanks again for your helpful feedback — I really appreciate it!
The display layers for some items have been adjusted.
In particular, the display layers for other accessories have been adjusted.
Even for races such as Anthrosonae, accessories will now be displayed in front of ears.
=============
一部アイテムの表示レイヤーを調整しました。
特に、その他アクセサリー系の表示レイヤーを調節しました。
Anthrosonaeさんなどの種族でも、耳よりもアクセサリーの方が前面に表示されるようになりました。
That really helps. I’ll take a look and make some adjustments based on what you’ve shared.
If you run into anything else or have more feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out—thanks again!
Sorry about the hat layering issue, and thank you for catching that!
I totally overlooked compatibility with xenotype mods—my bad!
Fortunately, adjusting the hat's display layer is relatively easy on my side, so I'll start working on it.
In the meantime, if you're in a hurry, you might try using AB's Head Apparel Tweaker, which lets you manually adjust hat layering.
And if you don’t mind sharing which xenotype mod you’re using, that would really help me fine-tune the fix!
Thanks again for your feedback—it means a lot!
I agree — the Rose Crown would be perfect for ideology leaders or moral guides. I’ll look into adding a patch for that, similar to the Clover Crown.
I’ve also been toying with the idea of an add-on mod that grants small stat bonuses reflecting each item’s visual style, balanced by increased material costs.
For example, glasses could give a +10% research speed buff, and the knit headband might offer +10% movement speed. Thanks for the inspiration!

Swoon... ❤
@tanyfilina
Thank you for waiting!
While everything worked fine during my test play, this was my first time modifying Ideology features, so there’s a chance there might be some issues.
If you encounter anything, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Thank you so much for sharing such wonderful ideas!
I’ve added Ideology compatibility for a selection of items.
I hope this aligns with your expectations—please forgive me if I misunderstood the details!
The ideology patch has been introduced.
When ideology is on, the following features will be added.
-The "PAM Crown" and "PAH Veil" can now be selected as role equipment for Leaders and Moral Guides.
-The Collectivist ideology now forces players to equip the "PAH Veil" with the same probability as a Visage mask.
=============
(Though I’m not entirely sure if my skills are up to the task...)
As for tanyfilina’s suggestion about assigning certain accessories to Ideology roles, I’ve finally made some progress. I think I’ve found the key area to tweak! I’ll conduct more testing and release it once it’s ready.
That said, I might not be able to work on my computer for a while, so there may be a bit of a wait. I’d really appreciate your patience in the meantime.
Thank you so much for sharing such brilliant ideas!
I’ll try to make it work!
Thank you for the ideas that will make roleplaying even more enjoyable!
I’m also excited about the possibility of adding little buffs to the currently effect-free accessory items—it sounds like it could be really fun!
Thank you for the suggestion. With the recent update, I’ve learned a bit about how to create patches, specifically, setting conditions like 'If XX DLC is enabled, add a function to the item.' Because of this, I might now be able to add compatibility for Ideology! (Though I can’t say for certain just yet…)
The challenge lies in deciding what kind of functionality each item should have. If you have any ideas, please feel free to share them with me!
Two items have been added.
- PAH Tiara
- PAM Floral Pin
PAN Muffler display has been adjusted.
- When viewed from behind, the scarf is now displayed on a layer below the hair.

アイテムを二点追加しました。
・PAH ティアラ
・PAM 花飾り
PAN マフラーの表示を調整しました。
・後姿の時、髪よりも下レイヤーに表示されるようにしました。
What an honor to receive such kind words! You’re my hero!!!
Thank you so much for using my mod! I look forward to continuing this journey with you.
To Yatoro煜:
I checked the appearance of the PAN Muffler.
You’re absolutely right—there’s definitely a bit of an odd look with long hairstyles, especially ones that fan out.
The reason I have the back hair displaying under the muffler is actually for short-haired characters, as it tends to look more natural when it covers closely-cropped hair.
Just had an idea!
I’ll adjust the positioning slightly lower so it won’t cover short hair at the back, and I’ll make sure it displays under long hair.
I’ll have an update ready soon. Thank you for your valuable feedback!

・Transmog
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3222605360
We hope this support will help you live a comfortable life in your colony!
Thank you for your comment!
In that environment, it certainly looks better with sunglasses hidden when using a full-face helmet.
However... I'm really sorry, but due to my lack of skill, I can't write a patch that hides other items only when a specific item is equipped... sorry!!!
As an alternative, I’d recommend using the following mods:
・Dress up Colonist
・Transmog
Both mods allow you to change the appearance independently of the actual equipment, so you could adjust characters wearing helmets to hide sunglasses, for example. I hope this helps a bit!
Rimsenal helmets are so cool!
In my testing environment, the sunglasses appear beneath the helmet, so for example, when wearing a full-face helmet, the orange sunglasses are completely hidden.
(I'm relying on machine translation, so I apologize if I misunderstood your comment!)
Depending on the combination of mods, there might be cases where it displays differently than I intended. I’ll see if there’s anything I can do to address this.
Thank you very much for your comment!
If there’s anything else you’d like to suggest or discuss, please feel free to share it anytime!
