what is the issue? the sideburns are not scaled to the bottom of the chin?
or the eyes, dont recall the eyes doing that.

9 lives is pretty crazy strong too, but I love the feline-flavor and don't see an easy workaround with the current design space of Archite Genes. IMO it could use a nerf and disabling the 'regeneration' of charges is probably the simplest fix. That keeps it very strong, but at least there is 'some' drawback long-term. I also think it is a bit strange how "9 lives" can end up with 'more' than 9 charges given enough time. So maybe it could 'both' count charges (e.g. only have 9 charges 'ever' across that pawn's life), but only say, 1 charge at a time (regenerating a new charge once per month, until that life-time-cap of 9 is met).

Some pretty fun and creative design space for these new genes. My favorites are Snow Veil and Adrenaline, both extremely powerful but with interesting limiters/drawbacks.

Personally I think Jaguar Strength is the biggest issue: 2 days just is not that long of a cooldown, and 2 hours is longer than needed for most raids/events. I becomes especially strong with better melee weapons (uranium maces, bioferite swords, etc). IMO I think it would be fairer to have a longer cooldown (e.g. 4 or even 6 days), or have less effect, or have more of a metabolic cost.

Hm I see what you mean. What other mods are you using that alter how pawns' heads are drawn? (Facial Animation, etc)?
Can you share a log? (Preferably HugsLib but regular would also do). Graphical issues don't always put anything useful into the log but there might be some hints.

Ya, looking back on it maybe giving them a guaranteed 9 hit shield belt want the best idea... prob because it came off the heels of watching that puss in boots movie but Damn if it wasn't thematically appropriate.

@cyanobot I understand. No malice intended, it's just incredibly annoying and takes away from immersion for me. It would be great to have a mod option to edit that single gene into something more reasonable like 1 or 2 of those lives (or none), to have the race have something unique about them still

Personally I agree but I am the coder not the designer or commissioner and I won't be changing the core mechanics away from the intention laid out by those people.

I could however think about an optional toggle to tone it down. Not sure what the best implementation would be though...

Fixed a bug with the Adrenaline gene that prevented bonuses from accumulating (unless there was exactly one pawn with that gene active and ticking).

Also capped the bonus at +100%, as a technical limitation.

Unfortunately this means that pawns who are benefiting from adrenaline at the time of the update will lose their current bonuses. If this is crucial to your save you can fix it with dev mode -- bonus is now equal to hediff "severity", rounded down to the nearest 10%. Hmu if you can't figure out how to do this.

Straightforward XML mis-named HediffDef, sorry. Should be fixed now. I'm surprised no one reported this earlier! I guess most people are running alongside Lions and Tigers.

Hello! I get errors popping up when a pawn with the adrenaline gene kills something. Had an Onca kill a muffalo with a knife.

Onca and uncia are the scientific species names of the jaguar (Panthera onca) and snow leopard (Panthera uncia).

If you have big fps drop when your snowpard kills an animal, install the Lion mod too. Somehow it fix it.

That said, afaik personal use should always be okay, what you do on your own computer is your business.

i absolutely love this mod! i wanted to know if you had plans/permission to update JALT to 1.5, since they're designed to be used together? in 1.5, certain genes in JALT like the ears and tails do not render on the pawns and it really bothers me. i'd love to see both working smoothly together.
