@Matsumoto Rise

Well, that's more impressive than my steel pipe network. When I have time I'll see about updating it.
Matsumoto Rise 23 Oct @ 1:36pm
Can support for the Steel Pipe Network be added?
It’s a steel-based piping system that can be used to supply ammunition to turrets.
[Steel Pipe Network]
Matsumoto Rise 23 Oct @ 1:31pm
All pipes cannot be built diagonally, and I’m not sure why. After all, power lines in the base game can be. Maybe there’s some kind of technical limitation behind it.
Rubrumlilium 21 Oct @ 1:13am

Maybe I didn’t explain it clearly before. What I mean is the middle cell of a cross-shaped wall — the wall layout looks like a “+” sign. When I try to build something in that center cell, it shows “Cannot work on universal conduit (blueprint): No path.”

@河豚合约
Unable to reproduce. Going to have to know what pipe mods are involved, may also be a mod conflict since it works in my simple test.

At the T-shaped wall junction, building a universal pipe will show “No path.”

Is anyone having problems with Eccenctric Tech Spacer Furniture connecting to these conduits? They worked fine up until recently and I cannot figure out what is wrong.
pillbug2 4 Sep @ 11:14am
@Cruel Moose Thank you so much!
Cruel Moose  [author] 3 Sep @ 8:54pm
@Vivi

Support added for both of those mods. Let me know if you have any issues.
pillbug2 3 Sep @ 3:35pm
Thank you for your response and time. I just remembered, the nutrient solution pipes from Ancient hydroponic farm facilities could also be added.

Thank you!
Cruel Moose  [author] 3 Sep @ 8:49am
@ViVi

When I have time i'll look at adding it to the list.
pillbug2 3 Sep @ 8:39am
Hello, can this support the uranium pipes from VQE Generator - Pipe Network Compat (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3556398957)? Thank you for the mod!

*Old man yelling at cloud noises*
RutraNickers 9 Aug @ 11:04am
Fine, I'll do it myself *snap*
Cruel Moose  [author] 6 Aug @ 9:46pm
@RutraNickers

No.....No, I don't think I will.

Mod and conduit description is fine as is. This is Universal Conduits. Universal Pipes is that way
----->
RutraNickers 5 Aug @ 5:57am
only thing I would ask is to change the description to include "pipes" whenever a mod that has pipes is on. Something like "A bundle of cables and pipes for moving all sorts of things around."
Cruel Moose  [author] 28 Jul @ 8:52pm
@ThelianTech

Alright, apparently I need to break it down for you. You've obviously read the part that the mod adds universal conduits that checks if your running the mod, and then adds that pipe to the universal conduit. So now your confused on how it functions?

Reading that part again, it checks for the pipe mods that you are running, then adds said pipe to the universal conduit. What is the function now some people may ask?

That conduit is now a Universal Conduit.
ThelianTech 28 Jul @ 11:56am
So I am assuming that your mod adds a universal conduit that allows for all these different mods to use the same pipe so to speak as the name suggests but isnt fully confirmed as to how it functions based on your mod description being a little non-descriptive.
Emilie Sackenball 22 Jul @ 4:09am
@nikita150u I suggest from time to time before opening Rimworld, ask a "Check integrity of the files, many people suggested this forces Steam to update any pending mod update.
Cruel Moose  [author] 21 Jul @ 4:21pm
@nikita150u

Has been for awhile :/ I've had to do that with many a mod to force steam to update it.
nikita150u 21 Jul @ 6:04am
Huh, updating everything except what you need is steam feature i suppose. It works fine now
Cruel Moose  [author] 19 Jul @ 9:20pm
@nikita150u

make sure you unsubscribe, then resubscribe, to force steam to update. It should work as I reverted the files to 1.5 and put them in their own folder for 1.5.
nikita150u 19 Jul @ 9:09pm
Nope, still don't work: universal - any, carbon - except underground. However vanilla conduits drag fine
Cruel Moose  [author] 19 Jul @ 6:08am
@nikita150u

Should be fixed now. Let me know if your still having issues on 1.5.
nikita150u 19 Jul @ 5:46am
Still on 1.5 and i can't drag any mod or patched conduits - only placing one at time
Mr Nobody 14 Jul @ 12:36pm
Okay, some of my mods did an update and it "repaired" itself.

I didn't look which ones did update and I'm currently looking through the
updates of my subscribed items on the workshop.

Sorry to have wasted your time @Cruel Moose.

If I find the culprit I'll tell you but I guess it's unlikely.

Anyway thanks for the mod.
Mr Nobody 14 Jul @ 10:52am
None of the ones I use are functional, but here is the list of the ones I currently use:

Vanilla Expanded - Chemfuel
Vanilla Expanded - Sanguophage
Vanilla Expanded - Androids
Vanilla Expanded - Nutrient Paste
Vanilla Temperature Expanded
Vanilla Expanded - Helixien Gas
Eccentric Tech - Defense Grid
Reel's Turret Pipeline
Cruel Moose  [author] 14 Jul @ 9:36am
@Mr Nobody

Please list the specific networks that are not working so I can check them.
Mr Nobody 14 Jul @ 3:54am
PS: if you need any other information, I'd gladly help
Mr Nobody 14 Jul @ 3:50am
Hi there, sorry to bother, but it look like I have a bug with this mod, I'm using some of the mods listed in the compatibility list (mainly VE ones).

But when I use the universal conduit, it looks like there is only the power (electricity) in the conduit.
When i try to hook up any of the other conduit to the universal one it looks like there isn't anything else.

I guess it's a mod conflict (often is the case) but still I think I should share.

Anyway thanks for the Mod. :steamhappy:
eaglegundam 13 Jul @ 10:49am
Thx Moose
Cruel Moose  [author] 13 Jul @ 9:16am

eaglegundam 11 Jul @ 12:09pm
ok sorry i was just impatient and didnt think
Cruel Moose  [author] 11 Jul @ 11:37am
@eaglegundam

Every time someone asks a modder "1.6 when?" a baby bunny dies.

Please, think of the bunnies.
eaglegundam 11 Jul @ 10:31am
1.6 when?
RojoMuerte 5 Jul @ 1:07pm
Love this mod. Thanks.
河豚合约 29 Jun @ 5:58pm
Thank you very much
Cruel Moose  [author] 29 Jun @ 3:32am

Cruel Moose  [author] 20 Mar @ 5:09pm
@Azraile yes, it's the same as laying down every pipe you have as one pipe.

Also, this is the last time I will be addressing this, and I will ignore all further comments on this subject. Build cost balance will ALWAYS be opinionated.

If you don't like it, make a local copy of the mod and change the XML yourself OR use one of the many other mods that lets you adjust the cost of the buildings.
Azraile 20 Mar @ 3:50pm
i'm not sure about the price then when you can just build the pipes you need, by the time you get to the point you can aford these you already have an exstensive network for everything.
Azraile 20 Mar @ 3:47pm
So it's the same thing as laying down every pipe you have?
Not only the pipes being used at any time?
Cruel Moose  [author] 20 Mar @ 3:38pm
@Azraile the pipes this places down will include every network you currently run as a mod, as it only patches in the network to the conduit that you have in your modlist. It is one pipe with all the networks you have.

I don't have an issue with performance using this mod.
Azraile 19 Mar @ 4:56pm
Ok dose this throw down one thing that anything can conect to?
Or dose it throw down a buch of stuff in the guise of one thing?
Just asking.... like performance wise.... is this easier on a game than throwing down a buch of cables.... or is this like throwing down a buch of pipes and stuff you don't need?
Cruel Moose  [author] 8 Mar @ 8:31pm
@Nirahiel You should be able to connect regular ones, not sure if they'll show up right graphically.

Also, as I said there's other mods to change the material cost. I will not be changing the material cost, so you can use other mods or make a local copy and edit it in the XML. I don't play with breakdowns as I find it to be more of a nuisance, and as I stated earlier, everyone is gonna have a different opinion on design balance.
Nirahiel 8 Mar @ 11:01am
Also I agree that using components for every single pipe might be overkill, especially since I'm using fluffy breakdown which replaces random breakdowns with a need for maintenance. I can't see my pawns doing maintenance on every. single. pipe..
