Medkits heal you for 80% of your hp. By default, your max health is set to 100. When you try to heal, the game calculates how much health to give you by working out 80% of “100 - your current health”. If you already have 97 health, it tries to get 80% of 3, which gets rounded down to 2, putting you at 99 health. You can’t reach 100, because 80% of 1 is 0.8, which gets rounded to 0.

This script just tells the game that Medkits are allowed to heal you to 101 HP. So at 97hp, the game thinks you’re missing 4 health, and heals you for 80% of 4, which is 3 after rounding, giving you 100hp.

does this make them heal you to 100 hp or does it fix that annoying issue of when you heal at like 97 hp it only goes all the way to 99?

can you mabe fix it some times ? btw when someone heals it crashed my game

Unsubscribe from the mod

Delete it from your addons folder

Resubscribe, and dont sub to any new mods

See if that works

It wouldn’t be listed as a conflict since it’s not replacing any files, just adding a new one. The only way it wouldn’t work is if another mod changed the same cvar, but if this is the one you subscribed to more recently then it should override it

it only has 1 line of code how could it not work... and it doesnt conflict with anything (as the game says it, its not red, so no conflicts)

nope doesnt work either with or without cheats i remember it worked in survival but only once for whatever reason

Powerful Pyro, I guess its for "Balance" and all that crap... yet, It's for single player modes so what if ye want the first crap kit to heal up to 100, like, it's never gonna work online or versus.

@PowerfulPyro the first aid kit is set by default to heal you for 80% of your missing health, to a maximum of 100. If you're on 99 health, you're only missing 1, and 80% of 1 is less than 1 so you can't be healed (thats whats happening as far as im aware).
