Having issues with Thermorifle pawns hitting themselves and the Combat Shotgun has twice the range of the chain shotgun and 1 extra shot per burst, Its top of my count for pawns killed both friendly and enemy.

Grenade launcher is shockingly balanced better than most vanilla stuff, like it is DEADLY but slow and needs to be deployed correctly.

@GapeHole: It's not an incendiary weapon, it's an explosive weapon that targets blunt armor, which is the weakest armor category on Mechanoids and most other things.

Wait so remove the whole point of it being a more dangerous sniper rifle that can harm you and your enemies through aoe damage and fire, and instead make it a better sniper rifle with fire damage and viable armor pen? You do realize the gimmick is that it's dangerous to shoot on your tile around your pawns but in exchange it's much more deadly against foes at a safe distance away right? But yeah I think it's more like the lore not really lining up with the function but fire damage against mechanoids isn't really that effective anyway, the weapon honestly feels like some sort of weird prototype weapon developed to combat cover and roast people like chicken

Thermorifle doesn't seem very balanced? It has 100% accuracy on any pawn, shreds and burns targets, it's basically a grenade sniper rifle with even more range that counter-intuitively is better against humans because mechs don't burn and explosives have terrible armor penetration.

IMO, remove the explosive component, it makes the gun too strong and causes issues with projectiles hitting trees and friendlies right next to the shooter. Also higher armor penetration and stopping power to suit its role as anti-mechanoid. Even without the explosive part it still outperforms the vanilla sniper rifle.

Really liking the extra weapons but there is one issue. The combat shotgun does more damage than the other vanilla/vanilla expanded/etc shotguns at 18 and has both extreme range of 21 for a shotgun, along with an ultra nasty 4 shot burst. Possibly a little bit lower on the damage/burst side as it outperforms anything that isn't a charge weapon or minigun at range. Tearing through basically any target.

Enemy grenade launchers are freaking insane. Show up super early and their accuracy combined with the projectile speed has caused me what I can only describe as emotional and mental anguish. I don't want to tell you how to design your mod, but damn I need to get good, I guess.

Wouldn't be so bad if they only showed up at higher point levels when my guys had some decent armor.

The marksman rifle is described as semi-automatic, but has a two-round burst. I like the niche it fills, could you change the description to be select fire of something like that?

ngl I ditched all the other weapon mods and started using yours. They feel so unique and good, and the best thing is that they fit with the game. Keep it up boss :er_heart:

Nice mod. Thank you! I like how it doesn't add 200 things, and the art is on point.

Nitpicking on the balance side, chain gun is superior to mini gun in every aspect. The .03 less move speed doesn't compensate.

I know it isnt that important but the chaingun sprite isnt tri-barreled. But I attempted to make some that look more like a heavy tri-barreled one if youd like to consider them :LotusFlower:

You are in luck, a Klingon inspired race (with some Predator inspiration) is one of the upcoming races for the series. They'll even have a faction and a few items to make them stand out. There are pictures on my Discord, unfortunately I can't put images on steam comments.

I like your Xenotypes series, I noticed that your designs are based off of a lot of alien tropes. The Venators are mammalian tribal-esque jungle people, think Angara or Na'vi. The Boglegs are Star Wars shady bounty hunters and drug/arms dealers. The Avaloi are typical aquatic humanoids.

Can you make a bad guy race next? Like a warrior race or space pirate/slaver design? Think Klingons or Sangheili for warriors, and Eliksni, Pfhor, or Batarians for pirates (Either way, we REALLY need an option to give people a whole bunch of eyes in Rimworld).

Probably my favorite weapon mod. All of the textures are clean, the balancing is on point, and each of them feel like they have a niche. Excellent job, thank you for making this (and your other mods).

"Special Occasions" update:

Added the Thermorifle, a long-range heavy anti-mech rifle that fires thermobaric projectiles. The projectiles create blunt explosions, making it an ideal choice to face mechanoids.

Added the Stun Grenades, simple and effective grenades which stun pawns in a 3x3 range.

Tweaked the stats of the Combat Shotgun, lowering range by 2 tiles and editing cooldowns.
