KGE is a ship set only and should work but I have not tested it with ISBS. You need to try that out yourself. Sorry.

This sounds like an old version of the mod. Un-sub and re-sub to the mod.
No problem. Hope you have fun with KGE 2.0.
The base mods KGE 2.0 / VEN don't provide any techs.
This means without KSE / VSE or NSC it does not matter if you load it before or after the shipset.
The load order above applies if you run the mods listed in it. ESC and the ESC sub-mods do provide dedicated support for KSE / VSE by checking if KSE / VSE are active or not.

From the top of my head I would say just design a customized version of the ATT / Conquistador and save them under their own design names.
Ignore the "Auto Builds". The custom builds should upgrade their slots according to the tech you researched.
BTW:
The ATT and Conquistador are not included in KGE 2.0 but are part of KSE. The Civilian Cruise Liner is not part of any of my mods.
The ATT, Conquistador, and Civilian Cruise Liner all automatically generate a new ship Despite having auto ship generation disabled, and a second custom ship already having been made, any advice?
No. The update is save game friendly. booper02 deserves the "Thank you".

You were right and I was wrong.
Copy and paste error between my DEV- and the Steam-version. Thanks for the heads-up.

- Adjusted size of the NSC Strike Cruiser model.

Nope. It is a cruiser hull and has the same size. At least on my side.

The AI has access to the ATTs. This is intentional.
Tries turning off all mods except the UI and KGE + KSE, and whiel the preview issue gets corrected, the ATT shill shows up if using another (vanilla) shipset/is used as the default landing ship. (though it does fix the preview issue, and havent seen the automatic recreation of ships happening so far)
Sorry but you have defo an issue on your side. Everthing runs as it should on mine.
If you run "AI use custom shipsets" turn that crap off.
Don't run KGE + KSE and Vengeance + VSE in the same mod setup.
-one the preview during specie customization, quite a few models from other shipsets get replaced by kurogane ones for some reason: they are fine in game however. Th easiest exemple to spot is the ion cannon, but sometimes its even just a section that gets replaced with a kurogane ship. That affects most if not all shipsets, vanilla included
-All shipsets have access to the ATT (but not the ironclad/conquistador/artemis as normal), and use the kurogane ship model for them in-game whielthe ship model is invisible in the ship builder
-lastly, there is a weird bug with some of the added ships (conquistador and ATT) where if you create a custom model and delete the auto-generated one, the game will attempt to recreate an automatic model after a short while. The Artemis and Ironclad are fine however
I don't know what is going on on your side. I have checked it with and without NSC active. All models do show.
You might have a mod conflict or the mod download from Steam failed.
That is strange. The the small crafts show the KGE models on my side.
