Can you remove the dependancy with "Warhammer 1 Update Project Model Fixes" please ?

It's a pain when you use Hooveric Reskin and the Mod Manager. Thank you ! :)

Of course it requires manual work. Even if you use AI (which really only makes textures look worse) you have to manually feed each individual texture to the ai. It takes time. It's not so hard as it is tedious. As for potential, as I stated that's not the goal of my mod. There's always room for improvement but I just wanted to fix the textures as they converted them horribly

@Dead Baron Do you think there is a potential for improvements ? how hard/demanding is it for a project like this? Is upscalers valid to achieve this or is it something that needs manual work?

And thanks for the reply, I mostly asking because I did wonder why I haven't seen any mods that do that and neither your mod is aiming at that goal.

The resolution didn't change for the other textures or the newer ones either. Some changed, some actually got smaller in game 3. My goal wasn't to improve the textures, my goal was to fix the textures to be what they should've been.

@Dead Baron I noticed your comment to someone else regarding not upping the ress, may I ask why? is it demanding a lot of extra work (I am not familiar with this process)? Is this even feasible or even worth the effort? While I am really appreciative of your work I am still very much bummed that CA never bothered to bring the old models to the same quality standard of the newer models. Texture resolution, Details, Breads (empire characters), Vegetation, doodles (skulls,rocks, buildings), and so on... they feel very much outdated.

I'm aware. It's a material map Issue I believe. I can try to fix it but that requires a lot of work so give it time.

The helmet of the Empire General looks brighter than the rest of his armor. Not using any mods other than this and Warhammer 1 Update Project Model Fixes.

I didn't make the armours "darker", that is how they look in Total Warhammer 1. All I'm doing is manually converting textures. There are some I made a little darker intentionally but I have reworked them over time as it wasn't true to the legacy.

The dwarf rangers have some strange lods they are full blue very bright.

Would this be compatible with faction reskin mods? For example, I use an armored empire reskin, would it still work for other races or is it completely incompatible?

That's not what this mod does. I'm not increasing textures at all. I'm just simply converting them manually instead of with a program.

A very good solution would be to increase the resolution of textures using AI, not necessarily to 4k and super clarity, but at least approximately to the level of textures of the tww 3 dlc units. Thank you for your work.

It's not screen treating, it's a model issue. Don't use the second part of this mod, it's not required I just did that so ppl know about it

Hi thank you so much for this!

If the model fixes mod is not required, and it conflicts with reskins and other mods, can you please make it not required? The vastly superior PropJoe Mod Manager shows missing masters, which isn't a problem in and of itself, but ignoring it can mean that we won't see other potential missing masters in the future unless we always check, its just messy and unnecessary and a time waster.

Alternatively if this is off the table for some reason, please let me know and I'll make a local copy of this mod to alleviate this issue.

Not that I've noticed. I have set it up to replace textures and they are the same size as base game textures, only issue is the file is a little big. I am most the way done so it shouldn't get too much bigger.

I assumed it was intentionally left out. I don't believe I did their texture yet so it isn't as if I'm not adding it on purpose. When I port it, it will be as it is in WH1.

any plans to add back that one emblem the imperial artillery crewmen had on their chest back in warhammer 1? That's a detail that didn't make it to wh3 and it wasn't reintroduced in this mod as of right now

this mod apparently causes bretonnian paladin/generic lord horse mounts to vanish entirely after a single lod change? this carries over to every horse mount of every bretonnian lord on the campaign map, could this problem be looked into?

The lances shader isn't working properly, so I can't assign the random colours the right way. Not much I can do without CA fixing the shader

You have been doing an absolute incredible job with this project overtime, I am always happy to see it updated and it's such a massive improvement to the appearance of older units. The updated horses in particular look extremely good.

A small issue I've noticed is that the colour of Bretonnian lances don't match the palette of their unit variant (the capes work flawlessly).

Barnak's assets mod seems to work better on the demigryphs, reiksguard, and blazing sun, but that might be intentional, and they work flawlessly together anyway.

Your work is heavily appreciated, despite the ordeal I'm sure it is.

The Bretonnian Lord's horse has some LOD issues, it disappears when zooming out far enough. Pretty funny.
