To Omega13:
Sorry for the late reply!
When I first added the plush toy, I never imagined there would be a rotating grav ship in the game. After I realized it, I kept wondering, “Hmm, maybe it looks strange that it keeps changing every time... should I change the design?” But your roleplay idea is just wonderful! I love the thought of a researcher who keeps a drawer full of different plushies and swaps them out whenever the ship lands. That’s so adorable!
Thank you for sharing your imagination with me!

To beeatchfairy:
Thank you so much (and sorry for the slow reply)!
Your encouragement always means a lot to me. Right now I’m making a new furniture set with a sci-fi theme, so if you ever create a colony that matches the vibe, I’d be thrilled if you try it out!
Omega13 4 Sep @ 2:32pm
Regarding the little plush toy furniture piece that is a different toy depending how you rotate it during placing: it's funny to me that, in a grav ship, this will change pretty much every time you land facing a different position. My researcher has one on his desk and, in my head, he's got a bunch of these in his desk drawers and he's putting it away and taking out a different one whenever we land again.

Thank you!! You are amazing! and I look forward to seeing your new creations :steamhappy:
ponpeco  [author] 26 Aug @ 6:04am
Thank you so much, your words truly make me happy!
I also feel that one of RimWorld’s greatest strengths is how it lets us enjoy so many different worlds and atmospheres.
I’ll continue doing my best so that my art style can fit into more settings, and so that you and many other players can enjoy exploring RimWorld in your favorite ways!💪:steamhappy:
beeatchfairy 16 Aug @ 7:54pm
you are very welcome! you deserve every word I have said! Your art style is perfect to me! I normally play styles like medieval fantasy or vikings or wood elf tribal etc BUT I love your mods so much I want to play modern and high tech :steamhappy:

I'm so happy that I have motivated you and inspired you to keep up the good work :steamhappy:

ANYTHING! and EVERYTHING! you plan on doing I look forward to seeing!
ponpeco  [author] 16 Aug @ 7:18pm
Wow, I’m so touched to hear you’ve been enjoying my mods that much!
It really makes me feel that all the work has been worth it.
I usually stick to a modern vibe when I create, but knowing how much you enjoy them honestly makes me want to try experimenting with other styles as well.

Your words have given me such a huge boost of motivation—thank you so much!
beeatchfairy 15 Aug @ 11:30am
OMG the llama and raccoon are so cute!!!! so excited!!
beeatchfairy 15 Aug @ 11:27am
squeeeeee so excited!!!! I look forward to seeing your new stuff!!!

Yeah I have all your stuff more or less lol really really want to start a modern play through so I can use more of your children's clothing and all the children's room stuff but I don't have any furniture and adult stuff to match it lol

though I'm sure it would take quite a while I am really excited to see any animal retextures you do!!!! I love your style!!! and love your mods!!

*blush* you looked at my screenshots, I'm flattered :steamhappy: as you've noticed, I like to create a full immersive collony and thank you for compliments :steamhappy:

again no pressure and no rush, good things are worth the wait and your stuff is awesome!!!
ponpeco  [author] 15 Aug @ 4:42am
I just saw your screenshots!
I was so happy (and surprised!) to see you’re using not only this mod, but also my hairstyle mod and the dog retexture mod—thank you so much!:steamhappy:
Your builds and adult apparel are so beautifully chosen, they really pulled me into an amazing, immersive world.

>Future plans
It means a lot to know you’re curious about what’s next!
For furniture, I’ve been dreaming of making another set besides the children’s room set someday.

Also, I actually have plans for an animal retexture mod. It will likely be quite a while before it’s released, but…

beeatchfairy 13 Aug @ 1:05am
curious ... have you thought about doing clothing and accessories for adults? and more furniture stuff and decor? and doing your own cute cat re-skin like you did with the dogs?? It's all so good but I have nothing for adults or furniture or decor stuff that would look good with your stuff, sorry, no pressure!! Just thinking out loud :steamhappy:
beeatchfairy 12 Aug @ 11:24am
lol oh they are now! and looking awesome too!! :steamhappy: I'll take some screenshots soon showing how good they look so you can see for yourself :steamhappy: my rimworld screenshots are public
ponpeco  [author] 12 Aug @ 5:30am
Thank you so much for your kind words!
It means a lot to me to know you’re enjoying my work — I’m blushing over here!
Please keep the little ones cozy and warm.
beeatchfairy 11 Aug @ 12:27pm
Haven't seen it yet but I just wanted to say thank you so much for being so awesome!!! your mod is one I couldn't play without and makes me wish all the clothes in the game were so beautifully done, capturing that simple and clean art style while still being stunningly detailed! Thank you so much :steamhappy:
ponpeco  [author] 9 Aug @ 8:18am
@beeatchfairy
Thanks for waiting!
I’ve added a new outerwear item for medieval roleplay.
Hope it’s to your liking!
Really appreciate your suggestion — it inspired me a lot.
beeatchfairy 2 Aug @ 4:50am
Oh wow, thank you :steamhappy:
ponpeco  [author] 1 Aug @ 10:17pm
Thank you for your comments! I'm so happy to hear you’re enjoying the mod.
Outerwear for noble or medieval outfits... You're right—I haven’t made those yet!
I’ll consider adding some capes or cloaks in the future.
Though I’m currently a bit busy with tasks like adding space suits, so it might take some time.

Regarding changing existing outfits to the outer layer:
I'm very sorry, but it would be difficult to change the current items' layers.
It could affect save data for players already using the mod, so I hope you understand.
Instead, I’d like to recommend the following mods that let you set separate “visual-only” outfits.
If they fit your playstyle, please give them a try:

beeatchfairy 30 Jul @ 12:03am
Actually better idea, could you make the role-play outfits and outer layer instead of skin layer so they can wear the basic vanilla clothes under them for more warm layers? The outfits look to good to hide under an outer layer, could you do this pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaassseee? :steamhappy:
beeatchfairy 29 Jul @ 2:52am
I love this mod but any chance you could add outer layers to match the role-play outfits? I play a lot of medieval fantasy in rimworld and this mod has the best kids medieval and royal outfits but my kids keep getting hypothermia :steamsad:

@1340815253
Sorry for the late reply.
Thank you so much for the kind words and your request!
The new DLC seems really exciting—unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to play it yet 😂
I’m planning to add an original space suit in the next update.
I’ll do my best to make it something you can enjoy!

@懒光
THAAAAAAAANK YOU!!!!

Oops! It seems I accidentally set an expiration date on the invite link—my apologies for the inconvenience!
That was entirely my oversight, so please don’t feel bad at all.

Here’s a fresh invite link that should work just fine:
https://discord.gg/3H7aQ8KEnc

This is actually my very first time setting up a server, so things are still quite bare and a bit experimental.
But I’d be happy to have you there, and I really appreciate your interest and support!
SquirrelGoblin 25 Jun @ 9:30am
I'm sorry I think I waited too long and now the discord invite is not useable anymore :c
I'd love to write you there, I had some troubles with Rimworld lately and would love to help you research for your mod :D
ponpeco  [author] 22 Jun @ 8:11am
Thank you so much for your testing and detailed report — it really helps a lot!
Knowing that the backpack appears in the recycle list with a minimal mod setup is incredibly helpful.

If it’s not too much trouble, I’d love to take a closer look at your full mod list to help track down what’s going on.

If you have HugsLib installed (which is required by Allow Tool, so it’s likely already active), there’s a very easy way to share your mod setup:
Just press Ctrl + F12 and it will upload a log with your active mod list. You’ll get a shareable URL instantly — no personal information is included, so it’s completely safe.

Alternatively, feel free to contact me via X (formerly Twitter) or Discord. My DMs are always open:
https://x.com/ponpeco_ponpeco
https://discord.gg/xEb8Bug2

There’s absolutely no rush — just whenever you have time.
I really appreciate your help. Thank you again!
SquirrelGoblin 21 Jun @ 11:30am
Okay... If I use only the mods you mentioned, then the backpack appears in the recycle list!

I can absolutely send you a modlist and maybe my PlayerLog but.. it's a lot. xD (I don't have Hugslib but I can share the playerlog file)
SquirrelGoblin 21 Jun @ 11:26am
I'll check that now!

And might be one of my mods I do... have a bit much. >.>

Also, no need to apologise! I should have clarified which mod I am using :)
ponpeco  [author] 21 Jun @ 6:36am
Thank you so much for the information—and for including the screenshot, that really helps a lot!

Ah, I see now! You're using MendAndRecycle—I misunderstood earlier and thought you were referring to disposing of items via the smelter. I'm sorry for the confusion! 🙇

I ran a test on my side, and it looks like all PKC items are showing up just fine in the list:
https://imgur.com/a/OvQusQK

If you don’t mind, could I ask for a bit more info to help figure it out?
・Your game version (like 1.5?)
・Which MendAndRecycle version are you using—original or a fan update?
・Your full mod list
・(Optional) A HugsLib log—it has both mod load order and error messages bundled together!

Or, if it’s easier, try loading just the basics: Harmony, Core, Biotech, MendAndRecycle, and Ponpeco Kids' Clothes. That might help narrow things down.

Thanks again for checking all this—I really appreciate it!
SquirrelGoblin 21 Jun @ 2:04am
Thank you so much for your answer! ♥
Good to know, another reason to want 1.6 even more.
I did want to try excluding the PBC-items but I think I didn't have the bagpack in the recycle list, even though it got recycled.
I should check that again.
ponpeco  [author] 21 Jun @ 1:07am
Thank you so much for your comment!
I'm using machine translation, so I apologize if I misunderstood any nuances 🙇
Just to confirm—are you referring to accessories like the Plushie, Branch, or Backpack being recycled by colonists because they don't have a quality stat?

I checked with more experienced modders, and it seems that in RimWorld, items without a quality stat are treated as “Normal” quality by default.
That means if you’ve set your recycling filters to destroy anything “Normal” or lower, those poor accessories might be disappearing unintentionally 😢

Thankfully, this was addressed in version 1.6—those items should now be excluded from quality filters automatically!

I’m still thinking about whether to add a quality stat for version 1.5 users, but since 1.6 just launched, many people are still on 1.5… so it’s a tough call timing-wise.

Your feedback means a lot—thank you again for pointing it out!
SquirrelGoblin 20 Jun @ 10:03pm
Will you ever add quality for the items?
Otherwise my colonists always recycle the items :C
ponpeco  [author] 3 Jun @ 8:09am
Thanks!:steamhappy:
Head 2 Jun @ 7:30am
Amazing mod!
ponpeco  [author] 13 May @ 5:54am
Thank you so much for your comments, and I’m really sorry for the late reply!
I truly appreciate your interest in the mod and your suggestions.
At the moment, supporting non-DLC child mods would be quite a challenge, mostly due to the work required to adjust textures to custom body types and ensure everything functions correctly.
I’m really honored that you would like to use this mod in those environments, and I’m very sorry I can’t promise compatibility at this time.
Still, your feedback means a lot — thank you again for taking the time to share it with me!
dahloi 11 May @ 12:45pm
Would like a non-DLC version of this for mods that add children
ozfresh 29 Apr @ 1:21am
Well I just dont want the DLC, abd will get children from a different mod
ponpeco  [author] 28 Apr @ 11:56pm
Thank you for your comment!
At the moment, Biotech is set as a required DLC.
Originally, the main content was children's apparel, which wouldn't make much sense without Biotech.
However, since then, I've added a lot of new items, and there's also a "PKC All-Age Patch" that allows some apparel to be worn by adults!
It might actually be possible to enjoy the mod even without Biotech now.
I'll run some tests soon, and if everything works fine, I'll consider removing Biotech as a required DLC.
Thank you so much for bringing this up!
ozfresh 28 Apr @ 9:27pm
Do I actually need the Biotech DLC for this?
ponpeco  [author] 20 Apr @ 1:06am
Thanks so much for getting back to me!
Your report was a huge help — it was an error I’d totally missed.
(Actually, I was able to track down the cause thanks to the support of the Japanese modder community… They're amazing!)
I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know.
And of course, if anything else ever pops up, feel free to reach out anytime!

It also makes me really happy to hear you’re enjoying the mod.
I’m working on some new spring and summer-themed outfits soon — I hope you’ll check them out when they’re ready!
Kcancaro 19 Apr @ 7:19pm
@ponpeco Maaan, sorry for the late reply! It's amazing that you managed to find the issue even with the limited info I gave. I'm really grateful — your mod is seriously awesome! The clothing designs are super heartwarming and really add a lot to the atmosphere of the game. It's also really cool to see how dedicated you are to your own work. Thank you so much again!
ponpeco  [author] 8 Apr @ 8:47am
@Kcancaro
Hey there!
I've made a fix for the raincoat.
I really hope this resolves the issue on your end as well. If anything still seems off, please feel free to let me know.
I wouldn't have noticed the problem without your report—thank you so much for bringing it to my attention!
ponpeco  [author] 8 Apr @ 7:18am
@Kcancaro

Thank you again for your report!

I looked into it more carefully, and you're absolutely right — I did find an error on my side too.
It seems to happen under the following conditions. Do these match what you saw?

・If a pawn wearing the “PKC Raincoat” is present when starting character editing in EDB Prepare Carefully, an error appears in the log.

and

・If a random pawn happens to spawn with the raincoat during editing, the error repeats endlessly and prevents progress.

Since the raincoat has a unique effect that prevents mood loss from rain, maybe that’s something EDB Prepare Carefully isn't expecting.
I’ll continue looking for a workaround or fix. Thank you so much for helping me track this down!
ponpeco  [author] 8 Apr @ 6:43am
Hmm, sorry about that!
I tested it in a minimal setup, but I couldn’t reproduce the grey screen issue on my end.
Could you please share more details about when it happened?
Was it right after launching the game, during character setup in Prepare Carefully, or sometime during gameplay?
Also, your mod list could be a huge help.
If you're using HugsLib, the log includes both your mod configuration and error messages—it’s a super handy way to share info!
Kcancaro 6 Apr @ 8:39pm
@ponpeco appreciate you looking into it! I really love your mod — it'd be great if it worked with Prepare Carefully, I really want to use both together.
ponpeco  [author] 6 Apr @ 4:55am
Oh no—so the screen turns grey when using Prepare Carefully?
That sounds like a serious issue! I’ll investigate right away.
I have a feeling it might be something beyond what I can fix on my own, but I’ll do my best to look into it.
Thanks so much for letting me know!
Kcancaro 5 Apr @ 8:19pm
There is a bug with Prepare Carefully which makes the screen be all grey:

Happy New Year!
Creating the adult version of the cape had been something I wanted to try someday, and it turned out to be such a fun project!
If you have any other ideas, please feel free to share them.
Thank you so much for using my mods!
Douez 30 Dec, 2024 @ 7:10pm
I had posted a message right after the update but it seems not to have been posted on Steam.
Many thanks for adding the cape !
And happy new year to you ! :lunar2019piginablanket:
ponpeco  [author] 14 Dec, 2024 @ 3:45am
Thank you for waiting!
The PKC Hero(?) Cape for adults has been added to the PKC All-Age Patch.
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3331523366

Its stats are the same as the original Hero(?) Cape included in this mod.
In other words, it’s extremely weak as armor for adults! Please keep that in mind.

Wow, you're using Ponpeco Hair too!? Thank you so much!
I’ll do my best to keep improving all my mods!
Douez 6 Dec, 2024 @ 11:53am
Awesome thanks ! Take your time and don't worry if you don't succeed.
Oh and I love your hair mod too !
