you do know you can re get ur mod right
just grab link of it then use gmpublisher and you can download the files of nearly any mod, theres a few websites that even do it, and hdds can get some data recoverd. so there good chances you want have to redo work, i lost my mod files and stuff, got them back pretty easily, hope this helps, please upd mod again add all planned and more, thanks, and sorry, amazing mod

The development files were lost a while back, that's why there's been no updates.

I posted a simple version of the reason why just before you did, but basically, when the lua first runs, it doesn't check to see if the settings are saved and overwrites them with the defaults.

Why do I have to set sv_hellpod_spawn_active to 0 every time I load into a game? Reposting this cus it also happens WHILE I'M STILL IN A GODDAMN MAP! Wtf man?

@giorgibob152 Not really, since the lua doesn't actually save any changes to your settings and just loads the defaults. The way I did it was to run a legacy version and change the default value myself.

For people wonderin if this is ever gonna get an update: I had V2.0 ready with a bunch of stuff like resupply pods, Hellbombs, shield gens etc - but my hard drive decided to die and all of my files were lost.

Idk if I'll ever get round to it again bc I did a lot of work remaking textures/animations/effects

it should probably check if there's sky above it, instead of just placing it wherever the closest surface above it is

No, because it's coded to reset its settings every time it starts up. I know there's a fix for that, but I don't know much about code so I don't know how to implement it, and it's unlikely that this will ever be updated.

Ragmod doesn't work with this. Everytime you exit ragdoll it makes you dive again.

for anyone who's getting this mod, only the sos beacon and the resupply pod work, and the sos just spawns players around it

if you'd like to get npc reinforcments i would recommend the mod "support drops (now with support for npcs to use addon)" by "ilikecreepers" while you wait for this one to be finished as it has npc functionality

either way, can't wait to see this addon finished

is there gonna be an update where i can use the tool gun or something to send down npcs in hellpods or no cause that would be really cool

Great addon, the only thing is the kill on spawn thing, I think is have to do with something in the line of a kill function

shield is not working

there is a bug i keep dying when the hellpod lands so i just keep getting spawn killed but my brother uses the same mod but doesn't die.
