Hey man, can you turn back the debug mode for this? we appreciate your work and earlier I already fix my issue with multiple errors and I can confirm that so far, your mod is the most optimize of all superb npc I tested but hoping you can turn back on the debug mode for this

2g. Don't give them any gun with a magazine. They will eject the mag, reload the mag, reload the mag, chamber the round and THEN starting firing. Shotguns are SS best friends, they'll pop in the shell(s) missing once it's clear and be ready for more. Plus long range weapons for them is janky. Get some gun mods with shotgun silencers for good times.

Everything else, you're on your own.

TLDR: You should go play something else if you can't mess around with mod setting to improve your experience.

2d. Turn all bandit related settings to 0 and bandit time start setting to 100. (bandits are broken in every mod, and I don't use or want them in my game, so you're on your own, if you want pvp so bad, go play COD)
2e. Treat them like children. They can be effective with melee. But don't put them in impossible situations. Also, even with above settings, I still get idiots that just sit there and do nothing when we get jumped inside a building. It's best to let them keep watch outside.
2f. Set survivor sleep healing to 50. (idc if that breaks your immersion, just do it)

2. Since most of you seem to be unable to work with the settings to find what actually works with these mods, here's a few tips that will make the survivors do what they should. This goes for all Superb Survivor related mods. (PSA: EKE and Bandits are garbage mods)

2a. Set survivor bravery to 50 (SUICIDAL! in the OG mod).
2b. Set Survivor panic distance to 0. (This, with 2a, prevents them from freezing up and standing/kneeling there like idiots and will instead hold their ground and use their weapon. If they are not doing that, it means they knew you're both screwed (aka lots of zombies nearby) and you should run, they will follow almost always if you keep their follow distance close)
2c. Keep their follow distance close to prevent them wondering too far, aggroing zombies, opening doors and so on. Increase this by +1 for every additional follower you have to prevent animation problems.

Dear Comment Trolls and Freeloader Complainers,

1. B42 isn't even out yet. So stop asking on every single mod. UNSTABLE isn't a update, it's free labor beta testing. Most mod authors don't want to worry about their mod being flipped upside down every month and updating it like it's a part time job. How about waiting till it's actually STABLE before you go around harassing every mod author ever?

god my survivor mate constantly do nothing and get eaten or watch me get shot 34 times from bandits right in in front of them.

@Boneless you should try this mod called Knox event and it is much better than that shitty bandit mod that just keeps summoning bandits everywhere making nonsense but this mod is more realistic open Meta world!!!

I don't know how to use this mod. In the Original one I can spawn survivors, make them join me, trade with them, command them. Here I can't do anything. I don't even have a menu tab in options. Can you help please?

Ive tried every npc mod. but this one suits me. the next runner up would be bandits because its well optimized but i didnt like the fact i couldnt swap inventory with friendlies and very limited interaction with them. i tried the original superb because the mod author updated it to the latest build 41 but it after trying your mod right after trying the original. The improvements you made seem superior. not to much of an impact with the default settings. Would be awesome to play unlimited fps but capping at 60 will do because since Im enjoying this mod the best so far and playing with npcs really livens up the world. I would suggest adding a raider spawn with gun chance if that would be possible only because friendly npcs spawning with guns with 50% chance stirs up the whole neighborhood quite frequently and seems like turning it down affects bandits unless i missed that option. Overall fantastic mod sir :spiffo:

I will try and get the npc models to appear and make sure it works properly but i think i cant quite remember but i think i could see one npc but i will try and work on it.

I’ll be honest—every other NPC mod is just bad. I tried Knox, and it didn’t even work. Bandits? Instant death or stun lock from NPCs. I’d genuinely pay the creator to update this amazing mod to Build 42. I had the perfect world on 41.x and stupidly updated. I lost everything. I had a working village, NPCs had homes, and I spent over 40 hours in just a week building my base with survivors. They actually helped build the community—we’d defend together, fight hostile NPCs, and the balance was perfect. They weren’t bullet sponges. It felt real. No other NPC mod captures what this one did. It made Project Zomboid feel alive. Those long sessions where I came home, played, and got immersed—they were magical. Now with 42, there’s no multiplayer, and NPCs are what made the game worth it for me. If there’s any chance you can update it, please do. If not, that’s fine—I’ll just roll back to 41. But man, this mod deserves to live on.

you cant see the npc's textures/model but you just go to C: \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\3231442597\mods\SuperbSurvivors3Beta then you need to edit the mod.info file and make a folder called 42 with the same mod.info then edit the mod.info the one in mod.info file you need to change the pzversion to 42
and then i would copy the media folder and paste it in 42 as well as the poster.png on the first page and make a icon.png. I think I made a folder on the main page called common and i just added a folder in common called media

The original "Superb Surivors!" mod is much much better than this mod! Don't struggle with this bad AI and subsribe the original mod. My life has been much easier.

Playing with superb and advanced trajectory realistic overhaul, can't hit NPCs :\. The bullets pass right thru them! Maybe someone has a fix? They're both great mods, can't play without em.

@maxkac5 the only problem with the Bandits mod is that the friendly NPCs are utterly DREADFUL. Superb Survivors are the best friendly NPCs (to me, the original mod idk about this one), while Bandits NPCs really are only good for hostile NPCs, they are terrible friendly NPCs. I'd rather be alone lol

No disrespect to Batmane but, if this mod is indeed as busted as people are saying, the original Superb Survivors still works great. Turn down the spawn limits and adjust the raider timings and you have a great add on for this game.

The pushing issue exists in original Superb Survivors too. Seemed like an issue more when they are by an object like a fence or door.

the only NPC mod i will be prob using is the bandits mod and i still gotta test it but most likely only it due to my expierince with the superb (not even talking about 2 in 1 survivors) and the comments make me not want to use this mod even more unless i do testing there wont be like 1000 errors/per min and everything will work good then i will probably use this one but i yet have to use the survivors mod and right now its winning by alot

literally the mod is broken

the translation to spanish is half done, the zombies ignore the npcs and attack the player if he is near, the npcs that are near you come a moment that stay still like imbeciles and let themselves be eaten without doing anything but ask for help. if you tell him to stay still somewhere and you give him the npcs menu derepente he teleports to your side and if they are in combat with zombies they kill them without any problem because they don't do much to defend themselves, they don't run or anything.

Исправьте русский перевод, а лучше просто удалите, потому что там непонятные каракули вместо каких либо слов.
Пускай просто на английском будет так хоть понятнее будет
Я еще пол года назад говорил про ошибку перевода.

Correct the Russian translation, or better yet, just delete it, because there are incomprehensible scribbles instead of any words.
Let it be in English, at least it will be clearer
I already talked about the translation error half a year ago.
