it's unfortunate the new vf update broke the avenger's vehicle hauling ability at this time, hope it's up and running again soon

The vehicles cargo option from avenger cargolift seems broken after new vehicle framework update, is that so? Have someone else the same problem?

yeah I think the rimworld developers broke the avenger. Its hard to find 1.6 air vehicle transports now days.

So i cant seem to load vehicles, they just slam the vehicle they want to load against the Avenger before giving up.

Warchief literally just disappeared from my save with 4 pawns inside when i tried to load the game. It's been breaking constantly and I had to destroy it every time and replace it with dev mode to be able to load pawns into it

I'm pretty sure last time I tried this tank out, I used it with two mini guns that used 338 lapua magnum?

The main turret uses 120mm ammunition.

@Nepenthe thanks for letting me know that the Gravships from the 1.6 update and the new DLC can transport vehicles! I have only been playing RImWorld for just over a month going on to 2 months now! So I am still trying to get caught up with all of the things you can do with 1.5 and the older DLC's, I still only got one of the DLC's, the Ideology DLC, so I want to try saving up for the others before moving onto the newest one. But now that I know Gravships can transport vehicles, I got more inspiration to buckle down and save up and get the other DLC's before getting the newest one! (I am sort of a hoarder and completionist so I want to get the others before starting to think about Gravships, regardless if people say the Royalty DLC sucks)

I tried with other vehicles in Dev mode: Impossible to load any mech in any of the Titan vehicles.

I can't seem to load Mechanoids in the Avenger. I can load normal pawns like usual, but if I try to "load pawn" on a mech, it says there isn't space anymore.

I can do it with any other vehicles from other mods. I didnt try yet with the other Titan vehicles.

Anyone knows a way to fix that? I couldn't find settings or a way via RIMMSQol

@Latex Santa There's a mod to make garage doors airtight, and Garage Doors Expanded has armored airtight doors. (I started to make a mod with armored and airtight doors before finding out it was already well covered!)

I assume that the vehicle bay has to be depressurized (assuming that the garage doors don't have that airtight tag) while the gravship is in orbit. But it's just fine and dandy when it's in the atmosphere proper.

The Warchief has to be my absolute favorite end game vehicle to take out on raids, its one of the few things that I really look forward to unlocking and building whenever I start a new playthrough~

Update Version 1.6.1 on 8/2/2025 12:47:44 PM.

Working in 1.6, but only tested with a minimal modlist.

Known issues:

* Superchief cannon in EMP mode with throw errors if any pawns (including hostiles) are in the blast radius, so stick to burn mode

* Avenger will trigger errors when landing while transporting vehicles, but the loading/unloading does work.

Vehicle Framework itself is having problems.
We're all stuck waiting on SmashPhil to solve those problems.
There are a few vehicle mods still working alright with 1.6, you just have to find them.

Mod works great so far, only weird thing i've noticed is the avenger's blades spin up normally when taking off but once it gets airborn they slowdown to pre take off speeds and it stays that way till it lands

Just found the cause @Nepenthe , steam didnt update the Ve map frame work correctly it works now , just steam that didnt do a mod update correctly haha

@Evono I can't reproduce any errors using the latest Map Vehicles & Framework; the Map Vehicles vehicles behave as expected with regards to the Avenger cargo list. Make sure you have the recent Map Vehicles update; with Rimworld not running unsubscribe, wait a few minutes, resubscribe.
