There are no "parameters" for these.
In order to change it, you would have to navigate to /gui/gfx and modify directly the .png files there.
It also depends on the text, since it also adds colored-coded tiers for weapon levels.
You can modify the "\gui\colours\kenshi_colours.xml" file to edit those colors but make a backup somewhere if you need to revert your changes.
My only "problem" Is that some text that is usually red indicating something not avaibable its now just purple and the green ones are light blue, its kinda disorenting and annoying, maybe it is somehow fixable or changable maybe?
Thanks u! @MagicHp
It's mostly an "if all else fails" feature, that should make it readable for everyone regardless of settings and setup.
I didn't know you could highlight the text in the dialogue box :D
Comparison. [imgsli.com]
But with the latest update you should be able to select and highlight the text on that tab, making it perfectly readable, can you confirm that this is working for you?
Thank you for the new background! At least it is more readable now. :)
Definitely much better than before.
I hope you find how to change the text color as that will open up more possibilities for cosmetic changes.
Ok, updated with a new background for the Dialogue tab, but I couldn't change it much without altering the whole visual identity of the mod.
Tell me if you think that is better or not ^^
But I'm still not satisfied, I really want to find a way to change the text color... I should have more time to try things in the coming week hopefully ;)
I found a way to change it, now I just have to find the right tone, as that same background is used in several other places than just the dialogue tab...
But first, some sleep ;)
Compact Dark UI by mife. This one is also a merge of 2 UI mods.
this is how it looks [imgur.com]
I have zero know-how with modding, maybe it will point you in the right direction. :)
Also, I think I know why it's that way, because it actually isn't modded, the dialogue tab is also written in black with a full Vanilla UI...
So I just need to find a mod that actually changes this and add some stitches here ;)
Glad to know that it is not just me with one of my 500+ mods messing things up or some left-overs from other UI mods... (I am still playing around with my load order and mods)
I released the mod "as is" since I never use that dialogue tab anyway.
I'm still trying, I'll update the mod as soon as I find it.
Can't give any ETA just yet.
I am using this with MEGA Kaizo/Vanilla+ Modpack (2024)
in the "Dialouge" tab most of the text is very hard to read. [imgur.com]
How can I fix this please?
