Stitched together UI

Description
This is a mash-up of several UI mods on the workshop, originally made just for myself but now included in a collection made of a mash-up of two other collections...

So here, you have parts from :

Transparent UI
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1681013987

Radiant True Dark UI
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2916407101

Dark UI TrRCB
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2267800577

JoshLmoa's Dark Vanilla UI
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1988122313

Item Grades+ Dark UI Patch
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1996124035

FSM
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2931184188

FSM little edition
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2932844856

Therefore you can just load this one mod instead of several others, as that was part of the intended purpose.

I would also advise to add the Font Redux mod just after that one, but I guess it's just personal preference.

A huge thanks to all these modders that actually did the difficult part of this, I just stitched together the parts I liked.

LOAD ORDER
Shouldn't matter much as long as you don't use another UI mod.
Just to be sure, load it as far down as you can, and load Font Redux just after if you use it.

Yes, you can use any Map mod with it. Just load the map mod first.

Known issues/Workaround :

The text in the dialogue tab is black. That is vanilla behaviour, and it seems there is no way to change it. I still have some hope to find an actual fix, but don't hold your breath...

However, that text can now be selected with your mouse, and therefore you can highlight it, making it easily readable.
Just make sure to pause your game first, as that change prevents you from pausing with this tab open, and to avoid additional lines being added, removing the highlight.

There are no "parameters" for these.
In order to change it, you would have to navigate to /gui/gfx and modify directly the .png files there.

@MagicHP Hello, please tell me what parameters change the color of the windows, the color of the frame and how can I make them more transparent? I don't really like the color palette of Dark UI TrRCB and would like to make it closer to Transparent UI but taking into account all the other changes)

The color changes are by design, mostly to be visible on a transparent background.

It also depends on the text, since it also adds colored-coded tiers for weapon levels.

You can modify the "\gui\colours\kenshi_colours.xml" file to edit those colors but make a backup somewhere if you need to revert your changes.

I just downloaded this, its really good, it fixed my re shade issues with the gui with this.

My only "problem" Is that some text that is usually red indicating something not avaibable its now just purple and the green ones are light blue, its kinda disorenting and annoying, maybe it is somehow fixable or changable maybe?

Thanks u! @MagicHp

Well, you couldn't highlight it before, but I found the right line to do it after going through quite a lot of xml files ^^

It's mostly an "if all else fails" feature, that should make it readable for everyone regardless of settings and setup.

@MagicHP
I didn't know you could highlight the text in the dialogue box :D

I talked with Cattrina, a much more experienced modder than me, and it might simply not be spossible to change that text colour... I still have a few things to try ;)

But with the latest update you should be able to select and highlight the text on that tab, making it perfectly readable, can you confirm that this is working for you?

@MagicHp

Thank you for the new background! At least it is more readable now. :)

Definitely much better than before. :steamthumbsup:

I hope you find how to change the text color as that will open up more possibilities for cosmetic changes.

@stavanzer

Ok, updated with a new background for the Dialogue tab, but I couldn't change it much without altering the whole visual identity of the mod.

Tell me if you think that is better or not ^^

But I'm still not satisfied, I really want to find a way to change the text color... I should have more time to try things in the coming week hopefully ;)

Hum, not a bad idea, I was focused on modifying the text color, but changing the background might work.

I found a way to change it, now I just have to find the right tone, as that same background is used in several other places than just the dialogue tab...

But first, some sleep ;)
