I actually agree with you. It is indeed a ship that suffers some rather unfortunate issues. I tried hard to get as close to it as I could without resorting to mods or extensive subgrid usage.

I plan to try again in SE2.

This ship has a lot of problems (as another user pointed that there is a free acces to critical systems and interior too) and inefficiences (mostly space usage and number of gyros which is astronomical), but... its the most accurate and detailed Helldiver ship in Space Engineers that I saw, and for that, huge Thank You.

Cool deal man. hope my critique wasn't too much :) It would be cool if there was a pathway throughout to get to all the gyros and such but i understand it might not fit the layout/scale

Found some issues: Left side, about 4 blocks back, and one layer behind the letters, there is a missing slope. Also a bit of an over site to allow access to the internals via the antenna slot. The thrusters on the top (to push down) near the top side turret, have a gap around them, so the inside is not airtight. The down thrust at the back is also not airtight. The left and right that are concealed inside the ship near the back have a damage cone into blocked(confirmed via BuildINfo mod)

Sadly not. To make viable drop pods, it would have had to be larger, required subgrids, and some other clangery. This ship wasn't designed for that since, ya know, SE optimization.

Oh nice! If you like the Midway, you'll love the new carrier I'm soon to drop once the dlc gets released. It is designed in the same fashion but larger and more detailed. It is part of the Sentinel Series I'm working on.

Be sure to watch for the Eledar coming to the ws soon!

Thank you for your reply dude, and yeah, i did not see it was set to station. Untill recently i had not played the game in almost 5 years. Thank you very mucy. Your ships are awesome. This one and the midway are my favorites on the workshop at the moment.

I have updated the ship so that it is now default in ship mode and it works just fine. I had it set to station on default since people kept spawning it into atmo when it is obviously not a ship designed for atmo flight lol. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh Greyed out, you mean hidden from view in the menu. Yeah, I did clutter control to prevent having an ungodly amount of items in the menu when you access it. Since they are all gyros, they have no need to be visible when you can just access their settings by their group 'GYROS'.

All of the Gyroscopes are greyed out.... and do not function. I have to replace every gyro in the ship for it to fly

I do not understand what is going on. I paste the ship in and get in the primary cockpit and it will not turn. Thrusters work fine, other ships work fine, your ship will not respond to mouse movement, i really wanted touse this ship, can you tell me what is goin on?

Just to throw this out there, since I don't know about your pelican but there is a conveyor line in the hull above the hangar in the center running to the back. The ship itself should have tanks and an o2 gen to keep it pressurized. If not, I'll update it tonight or possibly this weekend when I get some free time.

That's entirely fair. I like that particular weapon pack because you don't need Weaponcore for it.

The modifications I made to my Destroyer however are far more extensive.

I had to add o2 generators because the oxygen ran out, and I didnt wanna mess around with 02 tanks if I ever decide to use it in survival, which cascaded into me ripping up the hangar to install pipes from the spine to the engine room, in order to add connectors for Pelican-1.

I also made a few modifications to the hull to accommodate the new weapons.

While it does look amazing with the mod, sadly I don't build with mods, let alone post modded grids. I'm not against mods, just that I don't personally use them frequently.

That said, I do love the look and if anyone wants to mod it, I am not gonna stop them. The Super Destroyer can have its armaments altered in game so I see no reason it can't be done here. Have fun with it!

Bonus points if you refit the Super Destroyer with weapons from the Assault Weapons pack.

Yes, it is default set to station. Go to the grid menu, click on info at the center tab, look to the bottom right and select 'Convert To Ship'. This will allow the vessel to begin operating as a mobile grid.

I do strive to do what I can. Honestly, after having gone over the ship, I realized that the one I posted wasn't the completed version. The one there now is the completed version. Making people deal with incomplete builds is bad craftsmanship, in my opinion.

I've updated the grid. It now has the appropriate plumbing, added some production capability, and also did a few other little adjustments. Hope this ship continues to satisfy. Enjoy.

Feel free to modify it as you like. The ship is just an inspired creation in the form of the Super Destroyer. I would love to make it more practical but sadly, by the limitations of the game, it is kinda where its at in that regard.

I've been using it modified with Stone Industries server and it's been great, but not an optimal pvp or roach ship but its just too sexy not to use it tbh

Hey, I'm just wondering if the build has been updated since the conveyor system isnt working? I tried spawning it in just now, and for me atleast, it was still broken.

The build is amazing and well made and I heavily recommend it!

Yes sir, the two side port connectors are connected only to themselves, and the whole top conveyer system isn't connected to the bottom either - I did a custom rebuild with some friends and got it fully piped together, then I slotted in some hangar connectors into the eagle bay with room for 12 total fighters, 6 on top and bottom. I'm curious on how to squeeze in some o2/h2 gens, tanks, and some assemblers. Ultimate goal is to put on a fighter printer!

It is set to station on default. You can shift to ship by pressing P, clicking on INFO in the center tab at the top, and at the bottom right, the option will be visible.

The script is already loaded. It operates on the MART script. You have to make sure to unlock the hinge and rotor so they can rotate properly. The controls are the first two items in the task bar in the appropriate seat.
