SES Herald of Wrath HD2 Destroyer

Description
A special project inspired by the new game Hell Divers 2.

Immediately after seeing the ship in game I felt that I wanted it. Now I have one.

The SES Herald of Wrath is the ship my Diver commands in HD2. Featuring a large railgun turret fully controllable at the designated console, several high caliber turrets across the hull, and even a 5 cluster railgun salvo at the nose of the ship allows the HoW to deal out a not insignificant amount of damage to ground, airborne, and spaceborne threats.

Full interior, including the iconic bridge, hallway with closing bulkhead doors in case of breach, hangar with its own set of sensor based airlock doors to prevent depressurization, and even the various side segments that allow a hell diver to utilize its volunteer sla--- ship staff to rain hell fire upon the enemies below.

Crew quarters, medical bay, server control room, and more allows the occupants plenty of places to get lost when not stomping bugs, bots, or traitorous scum that flee the battlefield.

It is important to note that I did not try to do a complete recreation of the ship. Frankly, SE vanilla + dlc can only get you so far and I chose to not resort to mods for this build. It is pretty big so be sure your pc isn't a potato and you should be fine loading it in.

Ship Specs:

Blocks: 9707
PCU: 40632

I actually agree with you. It is indeed a ship that suffers some rather unfortunate issues. I tried hard to get as close to it as I could without resorting to mods or extensive subgrid usage.

I plan to try again in SE2.

This ship has a lot of problems (as another user pointed that there is a free acces to critical systems and interior too) and inefficiences (mostly space usage and number of gyros which is astronomical), but... its the most accurate and detailed Helldiver ship in Space Engineers that I saw, and for that, huge Thank You.

Thank you!

That is cool, ngl

I'll consider doing something about that too. like an engineering access. Critique is how we grow my dude. No worries. I should be able to address it tomorrow after work.

Cool deal man. hope my critique wasn't too much :) It would be cool if there was a pathway throughout to get to all the gyros and such but i understand it might not fit the layout/scale

Oh thanks for the info. I'll update it. Should be able to get back on this weekend.

Found some issues: Left side, about 4 blocks back, and one layer behind the letters, there is a missing slope. Also a bit of an over site to allow access to the internals via the antenna slot. The thrusters on the top (to push down) near the top side turret, have a gap around them, so the inside is not airtight. The down thrust at the back is also not airtight. The left and right that are concealed inside the ship near the back have a damage cone into blocked(confirmed via BuildINfo mod)

Sadly not. To make viable drop pods, it would have had to be larger, required subgrids, and some other clangery. This ship wasn't designed for that since, ya know, SE optimization.

no droppods ;(
