@Willy von Zeppy I haven't tested it with rt56, but the only thing that might affect compatibility would be if they change the map/adjacency_rules file which defines where canals are. That's the only vanilla file I edited so that I could make the Kiel Canal destroy-able like Suez and Panama. Feel free to try it out and if it doesn't work let me know. I can't promise anything, but I have made rt56 compatible versions of my other mods before.

@krzysiekliber First you need to switch to either total mob or totaler krieg eco law, then you should have a decision to create the Primativ Waffen Program. That unlocks other decisions to research the equipment at the cost of command power. Then you build it with mils. After you get access to produce the equipment, you will unlock decisions to add the equipment to certain battalion types.

I think I found the issue. I missed a . in the descriptor file which made the mod show as out of date. I fixed that and added a little more content

it would be really cool to add a system where you try to unearth hidden ww1 era weapon caches or something. also it would be cool to turn the volkssturmgewehr into Primativ-Waffen and just have multiple types of those guns such as the MP-3008, Volkssturmgewehr ofc, and some handmade weapons in the icon. its fine how it is but personally I would really like that change.

@ckcraft8824 The volkssturm are currently implemented. They're just a little hidden.

1. Switch to either total mob or totaler krieg
2. Take the Primativ-Waffen-Program decision
3. Take the Develop the Volkssturmgewehr decision
4. After you suffer 1 million casualties in the war, you will be able to take the Fuhrerdirective 69 decision

There will now be a whole decision category to spawn Volkssturm divisions in all of the different German and Austrian states (and some polish ones). This also unlocks the Volkssturm battalion in the division designer so if you want to train more than the free spawn ins. The battalion has similar stats to Militia, but require Volkssturmgewehre instead of Inf Equipment, The Volkssturmgewehr is slightly worse than the WW1 rifle, but is much cheaper.

An update for 1.15 is coming soon. I have been working on better mechanics for spawning divisions like Volkssturm and Luftwaffe-Feld-Divisions that I expected to get done before the release of Gotterdammerung, but I didn't. I'm going to spend a little time in Vanilla familiarizing myself with the new Germany and release my previously planned update and the update for 1.15 at the same time. Thanks for your patience.
