Dwarven Settlements are really bad economy wise, so they will most likely have no resources to build the Geomantic Halls.
Earth elemental plays nice with summoning, leadership and hunting lines. Having a tough time with Geomantic halls among npc settlements.
I am not on the discord. I barely know how discord works for that matter, but i'll think about it if I cna't make it work.
Thx for double cheking and the reply.
Thanks for report - I double checked on my end, and it works fine - both on old characters, and new ones.
Few things that may help:
- Please ensure the mod is lower in mod order then core2 module.
- Please try to unsubscribe and re-subscribe to the mod, this will force steam to re-download the mod files.
- Please try to verify game files via steam.
- Mods require an explicite new world(s) created, so playing with a mod on world that didn't have it when created may lead to crashes or other unexpected issues.
If you're on the game discord, you can ping me up and I could try to debug it a bit deeper with the world save file though.
From here, after restarting I need to re enable the mod, but the game always crash when loading the world.
I'm curious if this happen to other as well.
It should work now when subscribing and enabling the mod via Mods menu.
Then it will be working out of the box without any shinenagans. :(
For now you can copy the mod from:
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\2399160 (its folder called 3132395866)
To:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Soulash 2\data\mods
After that unsubscribe from the mod and be sure its not downloaded again.
There seems to be issues from the game itself (how the game loads the data between these two locations).
I raised bugs on game discord and confirmed that when the mod is in the local game directory it works fine - you can have conversation and hopefully there will be no more lots of geomancy tomes in circulation.
Thanks for the report Brother! Rock and Stone!
It works fine with my 'local version' without any issues - it's basically port of already existing mod to steam workshop. Had multiple full playthroughts with it without any issues pre-upload.
I will try to subscribe to the mod via steam and find out the reasons for this strange behaviour.
This is neat. It is nice to have another magic option.
Sadly, it seems that a great Earth Wizard has turned everyone's tongues into stone as well. Dwarf and non Dwarf alike are effected by this terrible curse!
I could be wrong, but it seems that with this add-on active, it becomes impossible to talk with anyone. Another potential issue is that it also seems to change all of the products produced by a village into geomancy tomes. I was unable to test this so it could have just been a visual issue.
I think this is a really good concept and foundation for this great fortress of an add-on. I look forward to whatever improvements or fixes you decide to preform. Congratulations on making the first skill add-on.!
