Yes it would be more fun. But it is WAY more complicated than what this mod does.

I'm not going to release any newer versions beyond this one, since i very rarely play this game these days. Sorry.

Can you make a version where you don't see the units you are going to lose?

I think it would be a lot more fun to have to know your units and the enemy's before autoresolving.

If you can see the units you are going to lose, you still have no risk despite the mod.

@duck you didn't bother me. :) But it is only fair that i clearly state that i'm not going to support it if it ever breaks. I haven't even the mod tools installed anymore and i do not see the inherent benefit, if there are technically better versions that are more often updated anyways

When the 6.1 update was done, there was a problem with all modes. If the mode name included capital letters, it was an issue that caused a crash when running the mode. This was fixed by a 6.1.1 hotfix patch. After the comments I wrote down, your mode changed to DEPRECATED. I would like to apologize if I bothered you. But I still love your mode. I hope there will be no problems in the future. I appreciate your management of the mode in all time. Thank you so mush, sir.

@duck, I just tested it. It still works if you only activate this mod. It should not conflict with most other mods, as the change is only minor. If it stops working with another mod enabled, it is the other mod that's at fault.

4th of Jan 2024, right. I did not update it since than, but it also should not be necessary. Are you using the CA Launcher or the 3rd party Mod Manager that is pretty much standard?

It can help to verify your game files if a couple of mods are installed, even when not activated.

I get this Problem with Warhammer every 2nd time i try multiplayer or so. With and without the mod.

So we where 4 people trying to start up a multiplayer game, and we non of them could join up. It was red. sorry mention crash, I just ment it showed up red. It has never done this. Even in the mod manager it said it wasent updated even though in here the update date is 4 january

It gamifies Auto-Resolves a bit, is configurable via MCT and also has the ability to hide the autoresolve outcome. It is also updated very regularily.

Hey there, when did the crash happen exactly? I used to play in multiplayer with it and it should work fine. I'm not aware that CA did change anything relevant in how the pre battle window is being built, but you never know.

@Susanj Thanks. No not that i'm aware of (would be nice to have that). You probably would have to make a new button for that altogether and remove the original Auto-Resolve button. Atm i'm just removing the result pane above the Buttons, which is really quite trivial if i'm honest. Editing more UI panes would be quite a bit more work. If i got the motivation sometime, i can look into it since it is something i would find neat myself.

Making it MCT compatible so that it is more customizable in what you want to actually be shown to you would also be nice in some way if it gets more advanced.

@Kay In reality it could be with the interaction with another mod, the fact is that by deactivating this mod I could already execute that battle without problems and it only happened when you acted as reinforcement in an allied settlement. It is not a major error either because you could simply deactivate the mod, pass that battle and activate it again, but I wanted to leave a record of it in case it happened to someone else.

@incata Oh good to know! Weird that i did not find it originally. I only found the WH2 version of it and just asked Ares if i could use his code. Which i pretty much did (with some minor cleanup).

The crash with human player supporting an AI that you mentioned in your mod is interesting, but i could swear that i had a situation like that already and it worked out fine. I also play in multiplayer with this enabled and did not notice an issue yet.
